Yes! People in America are starting to read the news!

The USA, the one and only, killed 10s of Thousands of civilians in the Middle East "Wars" within the last decade. We bombed house after house filled with civilians, mostly with woman and children. Most of the time in poor regions, but even so there has been lots of outcry internationally about us bombing civilians on the reg...

we are not above the fray in this argument.

I swear some of you must be happy that this attack happened, the way you guys talk. "Yes! America is finally getting what was coming them." Right?

I'm not happy at all. I'm just not surprised, either.
I think it's terrible when innocent people are murdered. Regardless of their skin color, religion or nationality.

Didn't America drop the only nuclear devices during wartime?

Mustard, in a very long line of absurd statements, this probably takes the cake. Did you know that the the Purple Heart medals still being awarded today were struck in preparation for the invasion of Japan? That is how high the anticipated losses were. How many lives, on both sides, do you think would have been the cost of not using the atomic bombs there?

Your hypocrisy is absurd.

To insinuate wiping out lives saves lives sends people to their deaths.

Your ends have not justified the means.

You're the one with the answers I thought dude.

Terrorism is a type of war meant to do what is happening today. A small bomb compared to most military style bombs, has caused a tragic loss of a small number of lives, but has made a huge impact. The effect is fear and the goal is submission. This was terrorism at its best.

When woman and children fear every street corner thats terrorism. When a mother fears for the loss of her son, thats war.

Any war's effect is fear and the goal is submission.

The side effects are what really gets me.

War is war.

Killing is killing, no matter how you attempt to justify it.

I don't agree with any war. I just want people to get along and live in peace. I wish my country just supported itself, and kept to itself.

It's filled with people who appear to have a very twisted view of what peace is or should be.

But don't worry... I'm the one who's ridiculous.

Your reasoning is idiotic. While destroying two cities was horrific, it was far less costly to the Japanese than a wholesale invasion would have been. And that totally disregards Allied losses.

guys, we all are human beings ....come on.

Pakistan: Center of the Grand Chessboard
[YOUTUBEIF]SJ46ZkJY8oo[/YOUTUBEIF]

our foreign policy is crap,it doesnt matter what president is in office there is no defending one over the other.they do it for the banks, and since their paycheck and all their spending is directly funded by a line of credit from he federal reserve a foreign private bank, they could care less what our morals are.

our foreign involvment is just to enslave other countries onto the same line of credit known as the world monitary sandard, the US dollar. suddenly it makes sense exporting natural resources from those countries to us for worthless money. keeps us happy and waiving flags and consuming crap we dont nessisarily need, until right now when the rest of the world is sick of it.

we have problems to say the least on this end.

we have a witch hunt about to break out here because of sereotyping.

lets scrutinize everything as unbiased as possible we will get the the truth much quicker.

I'm going to let your reasoning shine through as less idiotic then.

We wiped out two cities to save lives.

So Mustard... if you were the pilot.. you don't drop the bomb in this alternative history.

How, How do you single handily convince the whole world to stop killing each other after?
... you can't even get one person on this board to agree with you!

Can you justify the double or triple casualties resulting?

Man, I don't think you're an idiot, just playing BOTH sides as devils advocate.

Better read some history, Mustard.

Total losses for both cities was somewhere around 250,000. Anticipated U.S. losses for the invasion of Japan ranged from 1.7 - 4 million, with Japanese losses of up to 10 million. Terrible choices, but it would appear that the correct one was taken.

If casualties are bad then stop creating them.
