Next up in this set up will be a mix of some seeds I have popped (wifi, Scott's og), a couple head band clones I was gifted on the top circle, and either og or madness on the bottom. I hope you enjoy the pics. I will start to harvest this week and will get some numbers as they are ready. I'm putting together a new ppk set up at my rental and have started a thread for that. I will at least keep this one alive until I harvest my beds next month, and if there is any interest I will continue to update this set up....back to stirring this bubble bucket.

Started chopping shit jack tonight. The buds are looking better than ever, they plumped up nicely, but no matter how nice the buds turn out out still just isn't a yielder. Its the closest thing I have to sour diesel, which is one of my favorite smokes so I'm conflicted about letting her go. I'm thinking about building a little area in my basement dedicated to growing head stash so I will probably keep a mother, I just won't be doing anymore big runs with this one.
This one looks like she is giving me the finger, as it to say"fuck you. I know you are thinking about kicking me to the curb".

the beds are chugging right along, we are at week two. stretching, buds starting to develop...nothing like jack's week two, but still. I'm hoping they don't stretch so much that they get burnt or bleached by light.

Really nice looking grow mang!!!!!! If your worried about the stretch. Pinch them bitches, they wont hit the light then. I know from experience. Before i went vert i used to run a 4x8 table in half of my room. I had at minimum 20 strains in it at any given time.So you can imagine the canopy management i had to do. I used to put all my strains together that i knew would stretch alot, and i would pinch all their tops. Then the weaving with the trellis starts. In the end i would usually have an even canopy, and still have head room. My table set-up was just about the same as yours as far as space goes between the lights and the plants. Your doing a mono-crop so for you it should be about a hundred times easier.
Really nice job on the og13 and the sour jack. I have two mothers of both of those strains, and i think one of each will go into flower tonight. :thank you:. The madness you have, who's is it? I have madness from world of seeds, and it says that it's only eight weeks, so you got me wondering. Well enough for now i gotta get to the clone factory.

I o I think madness is from Humboldt seed organization(?) Someone gifted me the cutting. Its definitely at least 9 weeker. I really like the scent and buzz from it and will be running out on the table next. I have been pinching her and there. I kind of screwed up as fast as canopy management on this run. I got busy during stretch and ended up trying to do a 10 days worth of training and weaving in a day so its not a good as it could have been. I have a much better handle on things for next time though. I also feel like I might need to lower the bed in order to get better light spread (lights are already as high as possible). Thanks for stopping in.

Quik update, beds are at week five, I think...and coming along nicely. I've learned some things groin this grow, so no matter how it yields, it will be a valuable experience. In more ways than just some extra cash. Once I get it dialed, it will be arm easy 2-3 lbs every couple of months. I'm definitely building an orca tunnel-reflector like bldswtrs' that dude definitely knows his shit and I can't thank him enough for advising me as I put this thing together. I'm thinking of even toughing with some co2 in this room since it's only two lights and doesn't ever get very warm to begin with it wouldn't take a big AC.
Anyway, pics, I lolipopped them a couple of Weeks ago:

The left side of the table has some plant whose tops were broken off when I was learning how to weave through the trellis, so it's not as thick as the other side. The yields will surely suffer, but lesson learned. Next run will be better.

A couple more shots, sorry that the pics aren't better, I was just dipping in and out to water and refill the res, which involves humping five gallon buckets down the basement steps every five or six days, other than lolipopping, and mixing res/carrying water this run has been pretty uneventful. Hopefully I can get started on my new ppk build over there tomorrow. I started a new thread for it and, because I was distracted, I put it in the wrong forum. I will move it to the vert forum before I post anymore in it. I've bought pretty much everything but the pump and am excited to get started building. I've had a bunch of projects going on at home so it just keeps getting pushed back. I have a tray of madness for the next bed run as well as 20 our so in beer cups for the new ppks when they are finished. And Frankenstein, it it's from world of seeds, and according to them it is an eight week strain, but in my experience 9-10 Weeks makes it all it can be.

It used to seem like for ever waiting 9 Weeks for things to ripen, now that I've got several rooms going, I'm putting things go 10 because it seems like I'm constantly harvesting and one room is find before I'm ready for it

Nice work otis. All of your grows are looking solid. Get yourself a bonsai hero and you'll fly through the trimming. You do a really clean wet trim from the looks of it though. I can see why it takes so long! You do a nice job.

Anyway... :respect:

So, about a month ago I dropped my Ph pen on the basement floor and broke the glass globe. I bought a new one and some 7 calibration solution. I calibrate about once a week and it alwayswas right on 7. most of my plants looked as goods as usual, but my yogi cups and half of my beer cup veggers started looking deficient. So I checked my pen against the drops and it was way off. I took it to the shop and had them check it and it read the 7 solution and calibrated, but when tested against the shop pen it was reading a point and a half higher than out should be. So I have been feeding at about 4.3 for a month. Lucky for me I was forgetting my pen on my trips to the rental and using drops there and at home my circles wetter being flushed. The ppk did it's job and looks unaffected. I got pretty lucky. Ilk just have to nurse the veg plants that have been affected. Makes me want to ditch the pen altogether and go back to drops

One more thing, springtails, I have them. Are they really harmless? Scared the sit out of me to awe ask these bugs in the run off. I looked at em under a scope and they are definitely springtails. most fast they are harmless, only one person had said they can do harm. Any thoughts?

first, nice buds! all look delicious!

the springtails are probably the most common animal in your lawn. they don't really do much. i've heard reports of them eating root systems but i have had them several times and didn't see that.

they appear to be mostly harmless.

you can eliminate them or keep there numbers down by neeming the room. they don't fly so i sprayed the floors, lower walls and the outside of containers with a neem solution.

Shit is looking sweet, really nice. Shitty about the ph pen. I've trashed a few during my escapades. One thing that does come with time though, is getting to know your water and what it tests at without a meter. Even what it will be when food and additives are added. Then when shit happens things will stay just about where they are with minimal damage. I'm to the point where i can eye my res, and see how much water it needs and add how much ph down i think i need. Then when i test it, it is right where it's suppossed to be. All good things come in time.
