New to coco, can't pinpoint problem

 Hello Fellow ICmagers!

I started this years grow in coco. Maybe I should of stuck with rockwool.

I have either a N deficiency or just a lack of food in general. I think.

Using Dutchman Coco mixed with perilite and Growstones.

Charged the coco before transplant.

Fed twice 1/4 str nutes, just water the other day.

I'm in a pickle because I used Advanced Nutrients Ph Perfect, so I don't check the pH and I know its not an issue, but these plants are for sure, overly light green.

I'm leaning towards a N deficiency and that these plants are picking up from their mother who was fed HEAVY.

Check out the pictures and the color gradations on the leaves. You can see the dark green on some spots, maybe this will fill in and I am being a freaking noob again?

I'm pretty sure there are people with experience starting seeds in coco because in my search I found relevant threads/posts about this problem, close and similar issues with young plants in coco, but no one is just worried about lime green growth, they have other problems.

Appreciate any help. :thank you::thank you:

Overfed ...... just give them water and H&G Root Accelerator until they go dark

BTW the sooner the plants get used to daily watering/feeding, the sooner they'll grow quickly
... start at 100mls/day then up it to 500mls as they grow

At 4 weeks my clones are getting a litre a day and loving it

Yeah just go back to plain pH'd water. No big deal at all man. Did you rinse the coco beforehand? Sometimes coco can be salty. You're totally fine! :) On some of those pictures I'm not even seeing a problem or at least if there is it is very minor and comes with the complications of young plants in hydro/coco. Hope it all goes well for you.

:shucks: I spoke to a growing friend. I never washed my coco, even tho the bag/shop told me tripple washed. I also didn't technically ph the medium when I charged it.

So today I pretty much flooded each pot with 5.7ph - advised to go 5.8 but I didn't want to bother fusing with it - water with two part sensi grow A+B base nutes at 998ppm for 5 gallons tap water.

we'll see what happens rather quickly, but I got faith this is going to turn out good.

And from all the growing I've done/seen, these plants are all lacking the green hue all plants have which brought me here.

The good thing about this, its all documented, and I won't be repeating this :)

:thank you:

I think you might have it. That happened to me once, when I got lazy and didn't wash the coco enough. The higher salt levels will cause a nute lockout. You look like slight mag def.
You should be good now, fingers crossed.:)
Good luck on your grow:tiphat:
