Diffuser Beads and Other Doodads- Your opinion?

I placed an order for "diffuser beads". They say they are put in the bong and that smoke will have to curl around them ( do you also put water in a beaker bong along with the beads? ) and it'll cool the smoke. Is it true?

What can I use to replace all these brass screens? Jeez I must go thru 100 of them a week at least. Put on in, do one bowl and it slips out into the trash when done. What do you all use?

called glass daisy's, don't dump them or at least use tweezers to fetch them from the ashes.

Agree on the ash catcher and plan to do so but the bong is a pita sometimes. I much prefer a dry hammer ( just found that place online and am in the middle of having a copy with a personal interpretation of my favorite hammer pipe made and it's supposed to be finished this week. I realize to some this doesn't mean much but to me this is cool as heck and so happy it's direct with the artist who gets the $ )

The same place that was having a sale on the glass screens had a sale on these diffuser beads. They said you put in bottom of bong and that the smoke has to go around them, thru them and therefore cools it down. I don't know how in the world these things would cool it down more than a beakerfull of ice with a little ice water ( ), but they were cheap so I added them to the cart. Haven't gotten them yet, wanted to see if anyone here had anything to say about em

Get your sliders with ice pinch I dont use any screen. I do have a ash cather as well.

My oil rig has an elbow for a downstem so diffuser beads sound like a good idea.

I'm going to go find my BB's.
