I'm not completely new to this but haven't grown in awhile and looking to use a small closet or build a small cab. Here's the run down:
Lighting
400 watt Solis Tek eballast (dimmable)
super sun 2 hood
250 watt estart hortilux mh for veg, 400 watt super hpd horti for flower
Will start in styrafoam then to 1 gal airpots for veg, once sexed women will go into 2 or 3 gal airpots.
Start about 12 seeds to get around 6 females. Will use a 4X2 flood tray with drain fittings, coco + perlite for media.
For ventilation:
Passive intakes.
Exhaust: Soler and Palau mixed vent fan. Not sure what size to get. For now, I am not going to use CO2 so I will have only 1 exhaust fan which needs to pull through a carbon filter and push through the reflector and out the cab. I will be going with Filter-Fan-Reflector-exhaust. (just heard that this would be better for the longevity of the fan.
How many CFMs will I need? Room would be approximate 3ftX7ft closet with about 8 ft ceiling (I am only using about 1/2 the space).
Would the TD200X be enough? At hi-speed it's rated for 478 CFM. The space is pretty big for the size of the light, but like I said, I'm only using half the space. At 168 cubic feet I should need 504-840 CFM for 3-5 air exchange per minute, but my light is only 400 watts and there is a lot of room for the heat to disapate a bit so I don't know if I could get away with this fan.
Or should I just get a centrifugal fan like an elicent?
