Don't really see the advantage of a ca/mg delivery system.

I bought the one from "lowes". Good stuff. I been using it for 3yrs. Change filters every year. Good good system.

wish i had a little more water pressure. runs slow but seems to work fine. gonna take a while to fill up the water barrel.

I got the mine off ebay you need over 40psi for the water to be filtered ..I think i'm getting 47psi

i just bought a hydrologic "evolution" so fast

so wicked. they claim with the right amount of pressure you can achieve the coveted 1;1 ratio

you can purchase a booster pump to help with pressure going in

Keep in mind that most RO systems are rated for 25ºC @ 60 PSI.

Test your reject water as it can be used for other purposes and/or recirculated back to the pre-filtered res.

Warm your water up and get a booster pump like shuswap recommended to get your efficiency as high as possible.

i'll see how it goes before i buy that booster pump. not sure how "efficient" it is to spend $ on the pump, transformer and electricity to gain that "efficiency." i'll be feeding the treated water to a 55 gal drum. i'm getting about a 12 oz a minute right now...so i figure about 12 hours to fill the drum. suits my needs presently.
will the low pressure decrease the life of the filters? this damn remodel is depleting my wallet faster than i like!
