no hard feelings taken we are just dicussing things that most people find subjective, as with most subjects in life from cars to women we all have our own tastes.

i smoked some of the best sour dubb IC has to offer, won 2nd place at the underground cup...its some really good herb for sure, i remember when i first smoked it because the taste was ridiculous. taste was on point but i still prefer GSC or OG, and i didnt find the smell to be that crazy or unique, cant say much about the high because i had already smoked 20 strains that day. its good pot for sure, but i personally prefer GSC in terms of smell and taste..

chem D i can agree with you, some serious "reeking" pot that i also love...i also love the taste as well has that hard hitting garlic fuel funk....however im different from you in regards that i dont smoke weed to get super wasted or blasted. Chem D for me is just too strong of a day time smoke, same with OG, it just burns me out...instead of doing transplants, trimming or taking clones...those herbs will make me waste hours just lumpin it up like a lazy fuck...

ive also never been a huge fan of master kush or related strains...back in 2003 i liked them because it sold super easy and the mocha chocolate taste was good...but after growing LVPK, LA con, and bubba it just got boring to me, even my patients are getting bored of it...maybe the same will happen with GSC. i definately get bored of GSC as well, i rotate all my jars. last week i was heavy on the cookies because i had a fresh batch come down and its so dank when right off that 2-3 week dry/cure, just reeks and is goey as hell to the touch. but this week im smoking alot of my Docs OG from rare dankness, it actually reminds me a bit of sour dubb in terms of smell and flavor, but has a nice euphoric high..

anyways im rambling.....to each his own. i still think you gotta see some more samples of GSC and her related cuts...maybe forum was boring to you so try out the platinum/OGKB and you might like it better.

grey, try to get your hands on the ogkb/platinum like prop said if you can....packs much more of a punch and imo actually tastes like cookies, but you seem to have a lot of badass stuff that puts all the cookie cuts to shame in terms of potency....so keep that in mind.

i ride mass transit every morning and night for about 1.5 hrs each way and whenever i have the platinum/ogkb flowers in my bag(inside glass sealed jar), someone or usually multiple people comment to other riders on the "strong pot smell", or sometimes ill hear a buncha spanish and "mota" in there somewhere lol

now this happens in general when im carrying cookies, but i literally get called out twice as much with the loud and potent cuts...

Im about to cut a GSC at 77 days, thought i'd try and get a bit more or a narcotic hit from her. I will take some pics, she has been flushed 4 weeks and gone a nice colour....even threw out a little nanna.

My first two batches of cookies didnt have that loud of a smell(promix and coco) and I was beginning to doubt it was a strain I wanted to keep. Then I did a batch in soil and its so nose burningly astringent Ive been making heads snap back when I squeeze a nug in someones grill. That being said, I dont think the smell is all that 'unique', and find the most pleasing thing about the gsc to me personally, is the smell it leaves in the room when you burn a joint.

i have some very strong strains in my jars....the chem family, almost every OG cut you could think of, i grow outdoors and indoors and dozens of strains so i am well versed in terpene profiles, i see hundreds and hundreds of different kinds of weed every year from gardens all over norcal.....GSC has one the most unique and its very strong, i can easily smell my GSC through the turkey bag...when im trimming it my entire house stinks even with 2 filters running.

so same here....i dont know. only thing i can think of is coco/soil? when i tried GSC in coco once i noticed the smell was not as strong after 1 month cure...almost went bland on me i was surprised. my soil runs always come out gooey and stinky as hell, a small bag in my pocket and the entire car will smell up.

id love to hear of some strains that you think are stronger so i can try them.

seen a cut of herrijuana that is as frosty as cookies and smells like cookie dough

had a strain that smelled like a fucking garbage pile, like make you want to puke gross, then strains that smell and taste like grape big league chew.

makes the search more fun IMHO


it still amazes me how many terpenes marijuana can posses

Yes sir ur right. Im just bitchin. I got plenty in that department. It just takes so long. Ive done so much reasearch on every pack of seeds Ive bought. But it doesn't always turn out the way it should.
But Ive only scrapped the surface.
Anyhoo. Ive got testers that I have to get poppin. So hoping for a couple of gems. MrB has high hopes so thats promising.
