my most recent GSC find

upon physical examination.. easily the densest buds OF ALLLL TIIIIIME!!

smellz: has a GDP syrupy-ness in the front and it turns into a sugary perfume that climbs into your nose and hangs out there for a good second or two

effect: this weed makes my head happy, my body comfortable, and my belly HUNGRY.. the perfect night time smoke. people without tolerances get BLASTED from this shit

i really enjoy the stone thats functional while still having a kick... taste is amazing the best part imo. this shit i just like to smoke to smoke the shit

i was really surprised when i read that the animal was a fire bx cross since its such a cookie dominated taste/smell.. its obvious whoever ran those beans selected for the gsc side o things...
the s1 samples ive had are also really nice and very cookie dom...

really? everytime i even brush by a forum nug the smell just reeks....its way louder than almost every other strain in my garden...when i pop the jar its like a sharp permanent marker smell mixed with candy and minty kush.

maybe we are all just different, in terms of the high and what terpenes we are able to smell..

i have some very strong strains in my jars....the chem family, almost every OG cut you could think of, i grow outdoors and indoors and dozens of strains so i am well versed in terpene profiles, i see hundreds and hundreds of different kinds of weed every year from gardens all over norcal.....GSC has one the most unique and its very strong, i can easily smell my GSC through the turkey bag...when im trimming it my entire house stinks even with 2 filters running.

so same here....i dont know. only thing i can think of is coco/soil? when i tried GSC in coco once i noticed the smell was not as strong after 1 month cure...almost went bland on me i was surprised. my soil runs always come out gooey and stinky as hell, a small bag in my pocket and the entire car will smell up.

id love to hear of some strains that you think are stronger so i can try them.

i was referring to the strain as a whole... the platinum/dhn? is the one i save for nightime meds for sure... bigger nugs, still very solid, and frosted but not as much as the others imo... definetly the strongest of the cuts ive had.. it also is my fav taste wise... has a ton of the coat your mouth cookie dough on the inhale with a minimal mint/actetone on the tail end...


the forum on the other hand is what i smoke at work and during the grind of the day... much smaller nugs but frosty as hell.. more of a mint/acetone on the tail end than others...


the animal was similar to forum with more of the cookie dough of the platinum.. i thought this one as well as the s1 cuts tasted awesome... lacks the punch of the platinum cut tho

I get a nice clear giggly powerful experience from her.

Got a new (used hehe) ride a few weeks ago and drove it back from the sellers spot with a j of gsc, perfect for an evening drive in the bay area, clear mellow yet completely funtional, and happy too!!

Everything I grow smells up my car in a bag in my pocket but this last agent orange had gave a lil extra reek

i grew my batch of gsc in promix....
I am sure i can get some heads who've been in my garden here to vouch for the quality theyve seen, or not seen. and they are more than free to blast my shit good or bad.

I must have gone thru 30-40 different cuts in socal before i moved to Maui
mostly thanks to my friends on ic. fucking guys hahahha lots of aloha
and ive been thru 10+ local cuts here....
I have higher standards than most. WAY HIGHER. Apparently.
Or maybe i am more critical....

i dont keep a garden of 20+ strains. even though ive been thru what many of folks call "for life keepers", i found them (and find them on the regular when i try new things), not quite to my par. why? because everyone gets high different??

or because i think something sucks and doesnt measure up to being worthy or continuing to recieve my attention.

i like to smoke to get high as fuck... number one two three and four. if i was a drinker id be doing shots of jack morning noon and night. i smoke morning noon and night and i dont veg out in front of a tv all day i bust my ass working my property and taking care of my shit and you gotta be strong mentally to smoke the hard stuff day and night and still be as productive as me i think straight up a lot of folks dont have the mental fortitude to work thru the extreme highs i subject myself to on the regular while maintain productiivity levels....

skunkdawg....chem d... valley og... legend og... socalmasterkush... webb (hp13x maybe with sour diesel or maui dawg unsure which but it doesnt matter), sour dubble, adubb, ecsd, original diesel. could keep listing but why hahahaha
all of those except for the webb & skunkdawg are pretty much all over the world and relatively easy to obtain and grow.
Skunkdawg got top score (4th overall... only outdoor entry to boot ha!) in potency for a magazine's (ownership is in flux) blind cup in oct or nov i forgot which... 20+ other entries. beat Legend OG which rated a 9.0 in potency (and took the overall), beat loopma headband, fire og, chemd, guava chem, ecsd.... my skunkdawg got a 9.5. it was an across the board domination.
i know powerful smoke.

and as for smell and strength of aroma... err... LOUDNESS...
nothing can compare to SOUR DUBBLE. I had a pound double turkey bagged on the way into a dispensary in santa ana next to a tire shop. brick building. I went in and thru 3 doorways thru the sally port... so I was three rooms/walls deep. in a brick building. i busted out the turkey bags from my briefcase and put it on the table. I did not open either of the two turkey bags yet i was just observing the dudes staring at my bag... and the owner of the shop who was outside talking to the tire guys when i walked in barged into the room 'WTF IS THAT IT REEKS'.

gsc dont do no reeking like that.
now the gsc has a SOFT pleasant smell, which like bubba, isnt overwhelming. if nothing else is in the room and you break it open, yeah it smells nice. super nice. sure. then open up the skunkdawg (which has some bubba like undertones to it surprisingly). or chem d. or the valley jar. or the webb. goddamn the webb has that killer sour diesel/og thing.... or the HP13. thats the smell of heaven. but you open up some of those others while the gsc is open and... GOOD BYE GSC SMELL. just the way it is.... maybe its the way the tradewinds blow thru my house? hahahahah. right....
now you can still smell the gsc if you get all up on it... sure. then itll be apparent. but if you step back and take it all in the whole room... whered that 'bubba' smell go is what im saying. cause its been overwhelmed.

i respect all opinions right wrong for against.... its fun and enlightening.
and it helps me further refine my tastes and choices.

now, am i doing something wrong with my gsc?

First time i had skunkdawg it sucked. But i saw the potential untouched. I unlocked it.
