Fortune she was a skillful tactician who sold the working class on their own impoverishment for the benefit of the wealthy. All boats may have risen a bit, as the phrase goes about increasing wealth in general, but she certainly made a lot of rich people wealthier.

I think we have gone through a period when too many children and people have been given to understand "I have a problem, it is the Government's job to cope with it!" or "I have a problem, I will go and get a grant to cope with it!" "I am homeless, the Government must house me!" and so they are casting their problems on society and who is society? There is no such thing! There are individual men and women and there are families and no government can do anything except through people and people look to themselves first. It is our duty to look after ourselves and then also to help look after our neighbour and life is a reciprocal business and people have got the entitlements too much in mind without the obligations

3. She got rid of manufacturing, mining, shipbuilding... etc etc she replaced them with nothing, she put millions on the scrap heap for her ideology.. without giving a shit.
4. We could of been a rich country if she didn't sell us down the river for her cronies.. hmmmm north sea oil...
5. Kids in poor areas had a 1 in 9 chance of being unemployed before her office, 1 in 3 after she left.
6. Drug use rocketed after mass unemployment, she labelled them scum.. still now drug use is high in all these deprived areas...
7. she gave the right to buy council houses, most were sold to private land lords who to this day still profit of houses and land, they have got richer... she never replaced the houses for all the other people that needed them.. She never built ANY new houses with the money made!!.
8. British Rail Privatised, Water Privatised, ALL Electric and Gas Privatised... profits for shareholders, higher bills for everyone else... oh higher bills because she sold all Assets off (see earlier Oil/gas etc)
9. Then started with Ronald " The war on drugs", bit ironic since she helped put most on drugs.. and helped create drug gangs as that was the only way for some to make serious money... (I know some that thought ok Maggie fuck society, we will and profit on it).

It´s not easy, to speak about a dead person. I have to say respect, for what she did as a woman in her party, 1st female PM
and leader of the torys but she did so much things where the uk is sufferung until today. Healthcare, destroying of the unions, downpressing of the working class. I can´t forget the strikes and riots of the early 80s.
