hey guys,

just wanted to share a free tool that i created that i think would be userful for some of you hydro growers out there using the lucas formula. it's an application that allows you to plug in your current ppm, target ppm, and res size and get how much micro and bloom you should add on the 0.8.16 strength lucas formula. saves me some time in the garden instead of having to double check my math.

This might not be the place for this, but allow me to ask a question of you. I was brought up growing on the lucas formula, but lucas formula for my rdwc is just waaaaaaay too much ppm it seems. Maybe I am still missing something here. I'm still quite noob.

i think the calculator is WAY off !!!

if i add the nutrients suggested my PPM would be off the charts.

i actually raised my nutes tonight and then compared this calc to what i did.

it's not off by as much as i originally thought, but it is still off and if i would have used it's suggestion my TDS would be 200-250 PPM to high.

an interesting concept, but i will continue to rely more on old grow logs for my information.
