Hey green, check your inbox pm sent.

Try larger pots, they do look good though

I have run plants in 3 gallon smart pots but I likeusing the 7x7 pots compared to the smart pots with a 4 week veg. I'm in coco and noticing the smaller the pot the better. Although obviously I have to water more often.

Cool....

That chicago bitch looks freaky!
What Chicago bitch we talking about lol?

Good stuff
thanks 5 take care

Those are in three gallon? I guessed one gallon, in the whole shot pics. Three gallon is on my list, I could run 16 in a 47"x 47" tent.

Those white pots are like 1.5 gallons. What I'm saying is I have grown plants in 3 gallon smart pots of coco before using these white pots, and notice I like the smaller white pots a lot better with the same veg time

Read HGO's Thread on DTW COCO in the coco forum. https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=241341

I think coco is a unique medium it has lots of advantages and not very many disadvantages. This is what I have learned the last two crops in coco.

COCO can be used as a hydroponic like medium in a sense that it absorbs lots of air to water ratio. When the plants get sort of root bound in coco is when the plants go crazy. They will need to be feed multiple times a day for two reasons, 1.The roots are going to "take over" the pot and dry out the medium quickly when using a 2 gallon pot although the roots grow abnormally thick and also seems like the fine hair roots grow rapid in the meduim 2. Every time you water it flushes the stale air out of the coco and brings in fresh air to the coco Causing another hydroponic like quality.

COCO is a organic medium and with coco you can build a herd of beneficial microorganisms and fungi also enhancing the root zone even that much more.

If vegging 2+ months and less plants per light then go with a bigger pot maybe 3 to 5 gallon or something but with a couple weeks veg a 2 gal or smaller is the perfect size fore hydroponic like results in coco.

I would like to try out a water based NFT system, although coco is the way to go for consistent results time and time again.

Much Less hazards then common hydroponic systems. With all that said All systems can be mastered and dialed with practice.
