I can see why ozzieA1 thinks this may be over watering ...

and this doesn't quite fit for me.

I tend more to disease of some sort.

anyway my bumping yr thread like this means yr post will stay 'new' for longer and perhaps someone else will know the cause ...

fill out the info as suggested by ozzie ... and good luck ...

^ view from my scope where the healthy leaf turns sick

Feeding schedule is Botanicare nutes and includes: (per gal)

-5ml CNS17
-5ml Cal Mag+
-2.5 ml Liquid Karma
-2.5 ml Silica Blast

then I add:

-5ml Hygrozyme
-10 drops Rapid Start
-1 drop Super Thrive

ph: 5.8
ppm's: 500-600

*I'm in my 5th week of veg*

**For water I use 1/2 de-chlorinated tap and 1/2 distilled water**

(I do drain-to-waste hand-fed in coco coir)

Any ideas as to what my problem here is? It started out moderate but now it's affecting nearly 80% of my foliage.

Thank you for any advice you guys may have, I love coming to icmag for issues because you guys always help solve them!

The last photo says it all. Those are broad or cyclamen mite eggs. Google them and you will see plenty of photos. Then come to the Broad mite thread, and start reading around page 40 or so......

Hmmm. Yeah theyre usually in a moist coco mix but im told to never let coco fully dry anyways, last week they WERE sitting in run off water for a few days...

I am running coco and yes it's true about keeping moist as I try to not let em dry out either. It's the cold part that does it. I had this happen once w the cold roots. Check P def in Joe Fresh's sick plant sticky (top of forum). I read it's often the brittleness where the "dead" and dark areas occur that will set it apart from fungul/bacteria problem.

I know I ignored your post here but I read through it myself and answered the questions... pretty sure I wasn't flushing frequently enough because after I flushed all my new growth was green again!

Question on the neem though, I remember reading your signature so I added 5ml in my 2 gal feeding today. Is that too strong of a dose for neem? I just realized you say 5ml per liter which is a little more watered down.... we'll have to see how they react though. I love the systematic protection it'll offer from the inside out rather than just spraying my leaves. STRONG LIKE BULL! haha

i add 5ml/litre not per gallon...i have gone up to 12ml/litre for some really strong plant medicine...

US gallon = 3.8 litres...approx...

good luck...

Thanks for the bump dude, btw how do you bump a thread anyways?! Semi-new to icmag lol

"bumping a thread" is when someone posts a short statement to 're-activate' the thread ... to put it back in the list of 'new posts'' so that the conversation he is interested in has another chance of continuing.

yeah. we'll all be talking cyber-language soon.

good luck with yr problem.

a good start is typing something like 'bump' into the message box

from there you could just click "post quick reply" and be done! ~but if you wanted a more colorful bump you could "go advanced" then you see the options for smileys and a more robust editing tool bar

of course; if you know what smiley you want; you could just type that in
