I do have abit of bad news......
Ive been bringing my plants to the tub to water them and inspect them.
I had about 6 runts from clone that I put off to the side to get alittle extra at harvest for hash.
Ive been keeping a close eye out for ballsacks from the GDoggyP and the Purps.
Well......I started seeing red hairs everywhere on a few plants and I knew there was a ballsack somewhere nearby, so I just kept looking and looking but couldnt find it.
I found it last night on a runt Purps. UHGG! 2 fully open ballsacks completely hidden on the bottom of course.
I know this may ruin my chances at 1gpw. The flowers are in week 4 and just putting on the weight.
I cut the runt down and tossed her in a bag and tied it up. 1 single 8" runt plant!
Im so pissed the stores here dont carry Dutch Master Reverse anymore.
I kinda knew from the begginning this was gonna happen. I tried like hell to get Reverse.
Not a total loss though. Just 10% -20%. After further inspection its not that bad. Just the few closest to the runt got hit.
Which were runts anyways. LOL So I think Im safe. The Can-Fan cleans the air very well.

Out of 3 ECSD x Purps plants, The calyx's on 1 is turning a nice purple color with a stank diesel smell.
It seems to be a massive stretcher and a small yielder, but smells awesome so far. I dont have a cut, so if its that good Ill re-vegg.
Pics to come when the buds get abit bigger.
I put them into flower 2 weeks after all the others. So in 1 or 2 weeks Ill take some pics.

Ill def take some pics once they get some more flower structure.
The buds are so little. Tiny little purple colored calyx's with that diesel/gas smell. Tiny little ECSD leaves too.
Im actually hoping some of the Purps pollin hit it, so I can get bigger yielding Purple Diesels. Smells awesome so far.
Ill take a pic tonight, for tomorrow, so you can see the structure anyways. Ill try and take a pic of the tiny flowers as well but they are very tiny right now. Cant believe I havent found a ballsack on any of the 3 bagseed ECSD x Purps plants.
Im surprized too that I got a purple pheno out of 3 beans. Thats awesome!
May be a keeper. Clone only.... if I dont get any (ECSD x Purps) bx'd to Purps beans this run. If its that good a re-vegg will be in order. If I get beans, then Ill plant these along with the Strawberry Dogshit after the C+/Fuel/Cheesedog grow.

i am for the time being. my wife is about to give birth to our first child. april 11th is the due date but i feel she could go anytime. i havent germed a seed since june/july and i miss it dearly....still smoking the dtrain (white domina x qrazy train), blue widow and connie chung. the dtrain turned out to be special, two phenos in particular and i have a couple friends that are running them...such special cannabis.
i also gave out some beans to friends to see if they could find anything special. mainly TGA crosses and djxxplatinum deez crosses. so far the FLAV and Ace of spades have been most impressive..djxx's deez x SD ibl is looking sexy as well as the oregon kid og/sd ibl/alien og is looking tasty...
im ramblin'... ;-)
i should be up and running again by the end of 2013, i just need to let the dust settle and all should be well. i miss updating a thread, but i have atleast been keeping myself busy consulting in other friends/familys gardens.

I think the runt clone of the Untested Purps bombed my room pretty good with pollin spread throughout pretty equally. Atleast thats what the red hairs on the flowers are telling me. Oh well. My Fault. I was looking hard...just missed the tiny 8" one I was bumping my legs into while watering the bigger ones.
There was pollin on the leaf under the sacks. These were wide open and wicked full. I thought it was a Critical+ until I seen the sacks and smelled her.
So I didnt think to pay special attention to it like all the Purps and GdoggyP clones that were untested.
You know... I'm liking seed runs over clone runs any day! I have about 100 Purps seeds I made, so I just may do a all seed run of Purps and the rest of the Feminized GrandoggyPurps one of these grows.
Much easier to find the ballsacks on 1 plant, rather than 18 clones of it throughout the garden.
The GrandoggyPurps is a great yielder and seems pretty untouched by the pollin. Still has all white hairs except for a few reds here and there. She smells deep of meaty/sweet/dank, almost like the best Columbian Ganja, so far. She is a green pheno. Love her structure!
Next run will be the 1gpw re-try. Just when the flowers were putting on weight too. I think I can still get a pound+ pretty easy. Just not 1200 grams/ 2.68 lbs. Hopefully I get 1.5 lbs. We'll see. More red hairs than I would like to see at this point and if the plants stall this week then I know for sure what their fate and mine is.....1 lb.
This BCBD Purps pheno stays green but smells sooo freakin good. Even better than many of the purple phenos Ive had over the years.
Really, Really strong grape candy smell. Yumm!
Its a great yielder too. Sometimes shit happens. With the #'s I ran this time, including 3 weeks veg on the clones, Im sure Ill do just fine still. Although the Purps screwed me over again, like it usually does every time I grow it, its still worth every cent lost and every worthless seed picked out of a bud. So strong smelling and tasting. Great cerebral sativa dom high w/ 0 burnout. Makes me laugh alot.
I just cant get enough of her. She is my top go-to strain of choice. Even with the risks.
She deserves the awards she has won over the years.

damn that sucks.. thats the main reason i dont run seeds lol.. i usually keep 1 room or tent for testing the seed run.. and then the first set of clones.. to make sure theres not a hermi.. and then if it passes that it goes into the big room the next times..
but now ull have some purps x everything lol.. u can play with and find some keeprs..

i wish there was a way to make something kinda like reverse that could make any pollen not viable .. because this shit keeps happening to good growers.. and honestly.. fucks up harvests.. well good luck on anything else u get going this year.. hope the outdoors do good for ya..

I usually run a plant from seed to harvest and take 1 or 2 clones off her. I test that way.
Easy to just chop 1 plant or pick off a few ballsacks off of 1 plant.
This grow I needed alot of cuts so I took the risk. Its not THAT bad. Like I said....
Mendo Purps hermis quite often, even in perfect environments, and it doesnt matter because the weed is AAA+. Soooo worth the risk. Not all Purp phenos do it. Its just prone too hermi.
Next run....Im flowering the (f)CheeseDogs and (f)Fuel from seed after taking 3-4 cuts apiece. Im doing mostly Critical+ from clone next run. C+ cuts will be vegged for 5 weeks under 2-600wMH's, topped 2x (she is branchy anyhow so this helps alot), in 3 gallon pots. Alot less #'s. Only 40 short bushy plants stripped of all the undergrowth.
My mother plants of Critical+ are gonna give out alot of cuts. Ill take 50 cuts and use my best 38.
The other 2 or 3 will be the Cheesedog and Fuel. Ill super crop those because they will be pretty darn big with 9 weeks veg time from seed.
This way, Ill only have to test 1-3 plants. The C+ doesnt get any sacks or nanners so its a safe keeper/commercial strain. I would love to get seeds of the C+ and pheno hunt abit. This 1 seed I got was a freebie. They got it from a friend of a friends order, and they gave it to him, and he gave it to me. I feel extremely blessed to have recieved the pheno I did. Turning lavender purple during flush, smells of spicy skunk, Tastes like fruity skunk, yields big, very little stretch during transition.
What more could you ask for?

Im not interested in C+ x Purps at all.
On the other hand, Im glad it happened. I pray to God I get some beans of ECPD bx to this Purps. Thats what I needed badly. The smell from this ECPD is crazy amazing. Fuel/SourD with candy grape undertones.
She's purple too! Just a small yielder.
Back crossing to the Purps should bring out a much better yield and keep the color purple dom. as well. I pray I get some seed.
I could have gotten very lucky. The Purps I have now smells more than awesome. Its a special plant. Even if it did give out some seeds? (I hope)

All my GrandoggyPurps are yielding very well and there are no red hairs on any of them. So Im wondering if the hairs turned red on the C+'s and Purps because it was 82 degrees during the day and 79 degrees at night for the first 4 weeks.
I just turned my Can-Fan on last week, 24 hours a day. So I got my lamps closer now (10") and the temps are now 74*day / 68*night. I dont see any seed forming in the calyxs yet. (FINGERS CROSSED)
Hopefully the buds will get bigger and harden up the last 28 days with the temps down.
There are quite a few that will yield a 1/2 oz. There are also quite a few that will only yield 7 -10grams.
I'm expecting around 900 grams total. 32 ounces.
Next run will be much better. Im never using these black plastic grow bags again. I hate them. The edges dry out and its hard to water them and get the soil evenly wet, so the root systems suffer and get brown at the edges of the bag. Plus dry soil comes through thedrainage holes, leaving dirt on my gardens floor to blow around.
It is hard to take the plants out of the gardens middle, to bring them to the sink to water them, and its even harder putting them back and not bending the branches of the other plants. PITA!!! Ide rather water them right where they are.
If I filled the bags all the way to the tops instead of folding them half way down maybe this wouldnt of happened. Like basement grower said. I just like nursery pots way better now. I also like the buds better grown in 3 gallon pots with water catch trays. MUCH EASIER to water and bigger/better flowers.

like i said before man.. u need to pack growbags more then normal pots.. u pack them slowly with dry soil until the bag is full.. ull see it round out and look like more circular instead of squarish.. i had this problem before and it was a mess.. but still i been using them and nursery pots for a while now.. and the growbags are way easier for me.. storage wise. and grow wise plus.. u get 25 for like 4 bucks.. instead of 3 pots for 4 bucks.
