I am sitting here, smoking a blunt, all by myself, and thinking how lucky I am, and what a good day it is. The radio is on, the blunt smoke is in the air, and I am totally FEELING this moment. I can smell the devil's food cake, that I just took out of the oven. The fudge I made, will be ready to be whipped, after my blunt is gone. My leg hasn't had any cramps in a few hours, and the hole is about closed. TOH is golfing, the house is clean, the veg has been watered, and I am starting my Easter dinner prep. I am not allowing myself to be sad about the people that aren't here, that I miss so much. I am just FEELING this moment, while I smoke. I am glad to be here at IC, and some of the coolest peeps I have ever met, and never met. Today is a GOOD day, and thanks for allowing me to share it with all of y'all. I hope y'all are having a good day, too!!!

Man, that is solid! I am thrilled that you are feeling better and the leg is coming along. Get down on Easter and live the dream! I'm going to be babied by one of my sons who will come over and do the cooking. My sister-in-law and her husband will be coming as well (he's a bit of a PITA, but I can deal with that no sweat - just kiss the fool's ass for a few hours and family bliss ensues, easy-peasy). I will go get my son who lives in the mental retardation home and make his day as bright as I can and then there is Mrs. MPD. This is very likely to be her last Easter with me so I got her all kinds of cool presents and and a kick-ass card that I personalized A-L-L T-0 H-E-L-L.
It is going to be great! I'm digging your vibe completely. Easter is usually the holiday where I have had a habit (in years gone by) of getting completely wasted and acting stupid (it's how I got my nickname Captain Zoom in high school, I am chagrined to say). I'm going to get completely wasted and have some laughs tomorrow night.

I think sometimes, we get bogged down in the minutiae of our everyday existence....WELL< I am trying to always focus on the GOOD, that happens in my life. And there is plenty of it...whether it is the simple pleasure of eating a sweet donut, or the memories of all those I love. I am alive, and every breath is a step in a more positive direction. That is the beauty of humanity......we persevere, and still see all the BEAUTY life has to offer....all we have to do is immerse ourselves in that. I certainly am immersing!!!!!!!!

trying to 'thank' for every aspect of existernce now....and while i'm not into religion i still have a concept of "God" that permeates and coexists with all that i focus my gratitude upon.

I'm having a lovely day myself, even though it's not gonna be anything like described above. I'm going to work my normal shift at the call center today later on... right now I am smoking on an organically grown bagseed, and it is possibly the best I've ever grown!! I just love the way I feel right now. Also, I'm expecting a slow day at work today, which would be another treat. Either way, I have 2 days off after tonite, so this is my "Friday"!!
