La Buena Hierba Sour Diesel Haze

Hello everyone. I just wanted to share a strain that i was trying to get for awhile. They are the Sour Diesel Haze short pheno that I got from Fash Seeds bred by La Buena Hierba. I have grown a few of his strains and posted about this Samurai Jacks that I grew last year as well.


100% Germination and all were female from reg seeds.



They were some of the frostiest plants I have ever grown,



I need to learn to resize better

Here is a cut and paste smoke report I did on another forum where I did my grow log. This is some Top Shelf Smoke and is as good as any weed I have ever smoked before. Props to LBH!

Did it autoflower?: Yes

Soil/hydro: Sunshine Mix #4 Soiless

Nutes: Advance Nutrients and Bloombastic, see nute chart for details


Light : Led Lighting mostly 24/0 with 20/4 at the end


From seed to harvest date: 80 days for plant tested


Dry Yield: 1+ ounce per plant

High/Effect Duration:

Very strong A+ high. 4 hours really stoned and drops off slowly after that.

In-depth


RATE SCALE: * bad to ***** good


BAG APPEAL: ***

Decent sized buds but not really much colors other than green and frosty.

THE GROWTH: ****

5 out of 5 females. 3 different sizes from 13" to 30" Really easy to grow. No bug issues and highly tolerant to hot and cold temps. 28-105 Fahrenheit kinda swings. Very impressive. Would have been bigger in controlled space but they were so smelly even my Carbon Filter couldn't keep up without running a ozone gen all the time and I don't like the way they make the air taste.

THE SMELL: *****
Not too overpowering but only 2 weeks into the cure and smells like pinesol with diesel in it. Really nice clean smell. Was very smelling when growing. I give it a A- grade but will check it out in a few weeks and update.




THE SMOKE: *****
Tastes kinds like sweet diesel pine (if that makes sense) but you get some of that sour taste too like with a Sour60. Very enjoyable. A

THE HIGH: *****

Sets in within a minute. 3 Minutes later I am am pretty high now. Very heady high. 6 min now and I am realllllly high. Feeling pretty creative but do not want to go out for a drive for sure. Ok over an hour and I am still realllly freaking high. I can still get stuff done though so not a total couchlock but could be if you are a couch potato. 2 hours now and total of 4 hits consumed and I am totally baked. Its 6 hours later and I am still fairly high. The main buzz is really strong for 4-5 hours. Grade A

If you get a chance to grow these I highly recommend it. This is the real deal for auto!

Looks good! Saw your grow on the other forum... Were these fems or regs? I have a couple packs that I purchased as fems, however a member from "The other forum" by the name of slightlystoopid told me that they were in fact regs and that he used a male SDH to make a few crosses. Just wondering...

yes the first few 1000 seeds of SDH where from Fem making seed that go wrong i, tolt that to the guy from/sell too seedbanks ! solt later on reg seeds of SDH but they still sell them as Fem? its the SDH short pheno
(they sell as SDH?) i now planning too sell myzelf becorse lot of fake's out there too give me bad name

i hear of the crosses (with auto purple Kush not?) they look great

Thanks for the reply! Yep that would be the one... Slightly crossed it with auto purple kush. How does a fem seedrun go wrong and create m/f seeds? I thought if you reversed a female that there is no way to produce males as there are no y chromosomes involved?

i think the guy from the grow room forget a male and lies too me that he remove it too late?but not sure ore meabey not a good 100%female that i turnd male not sure wat went wrong? but never make it again fem afther that run and will not breed with auto SDH short pheno from that run (but the purple kush cross is nice lol)

I bought mine as regs but went 5 for 5 on females strange enough. That seems to happen when I plan on seeding one of them hehe.

Side note: My wife sufferes from migraines and just 3 hits of this strain can help her get to sleep in less than 10 minutes. They seem to have a very high medicinal value although they don't put me to sleep that seems to happen to some women a lot I have noticed.

I know you don't and I understand why I just have to grow indoors and it works best for me hehehe

They were born under a little t5 light and then vegged under a GLH Spectre 290w Led at 30" and then moved to a tent that had a few 260W Hydroponic Hut Leds. I think I will try them again soon under my new Fero Led to see how it does in comparison.
