I don't but it's talked about in many of the threads I read. So it's a definite yes.

I still use it as a backup if I run out of other stuff. Honestly, it does the job just fine though.

i'm still running a modified lucas in hydro. 6/9 then pk an other additives like cal-mag, liquid guano , bio-tone & ewc & mycorrhizae teas, an silica, seakelp/maxicrop. Price is right for GH an im tired of wasting money on bogus nutes an additives. Easy to play with the micro/bloom to cater to the picky plants or pull the nitrogen late flower. can keep up with the " best "of nutes on the market.

Yes still used. A great starting point that will consistently work. Go with the dry Maxi Bloom. With the $$ saved you can possibly justify buying all the additives to play with that for the most part you don't really need.

One thing about the Lucas method that has been proven to be wrong. You don't want to mix your Maxi in the jar of hot H20. Just add the Maxi to the main H20 or a much larger amount of water then mix.

I use Maxibloom (and drip clean) and nothing else from seed to chop. I don't quite use the lucas ratio of 7 grams/gal, I find that to be a bit hot for most strains. 6.5-6.6 seems to be ideal for me in my situation.

Awesome. As good as Lucas from your experience?

I've been using 5grams/gallon in a DWC setup for plants that aren't cannabis for 3 weeks now and they are loving it, just Maxibloom, Tap Water, and adjust the PH, and check it every day and keep it at 6.

The results are really making me excited to moving away from coco hempies to DWC/NFT in the near future. I've been using Maxibloom + RO water + Cal/Mag for a few cycles in the hempy buckets and it's been great.

The only draw back is it takes several minutes of vigorous stirring to get the powder to fully dissolve into your solution, which you need to make sure you do every time.

Hope this helps :tiphat:

6/9 Genhydro Micro and Bloom, cal m/g (to 150-200ppm) Advanced nutrients bud ignitor /big bud /overdrive, Pinapple rush sweetener, Superthrive, silica in coco usually w/perlite.

Not really lucas anymore, but its the coco version of the base formula.

Don't discount gh/Lucas.
You add kelp, bat guano & humic acids & it'll taste as good as anything.
I do 7/14, floralicious +, liquid karma, liquid budswell. (with roots excel & silica first 3wks).
With a 14 day slow dry it tastes like my organic dirt grown weed.
I've ran most nutes on the market & keep coming back to gh.
