Dude, let me just go ahead and say this.

Stick with bulkheads, fuck everything else.

Just trust me, a few bucks saved won't be worth the headaches....

the issue im having with the bulkheads is that some of the buckets are leaking where i use the id tubing granted its only 3 out of 18 but wanted a way to sure up thoes leaks

black poly tubing just hooking it straight up to the 3/4 fitting on it basically they are the ebb and flood fittings

wasnt even thinking about that i had a 18 site setup in 4x8 tent took half of them out and put the other 9 in a 4x4 tent they werent leakers tossed my 4x8 table back in there gonna just run it with 3k critical mass x gdp sog gonna continue the rdwc as a side project though

What kind of bulkheads do you recommend for PVC? The CCH20 ones look great but they are more than just a few bucks extra @ roughly $20 a pop.

I have to look, I've found 1.5 inch bulkheads for ~10$ somewhere but this works too, build your own bulkhead for less than 5 dollars.

Hammerhead, maybe I was just unlucky, but the characteristics of hdpe plastic and the method of uniseals seal is not a good combo. IOW, brittle plastic and expansion seals lead to cracks in the plastic unless the hole is perfect.

What ever size hole you need to put is what you need to put.If I need a 3/4 hole I use a 1.25 hole saw with 3/4 uni-seals. I never got any leaks. Im only giving my experience with them. All of our Vortex tea brewers are made with Uni-Seals..
