So the ten place is the new veg room? Are you vegging with vertical hanging bulbs as well??

Looks sick and on point as usual.. Do you get the perma r from lowes??

yep, 3 1kw dimmable ballasts 2 ton minisplit. Ill gradually bump the light up as the root mass increases. Its working great so far..

Getto,
I few questions......

-You say your lights in the new room are on the lowest setting, do you feel maybe the room is too small for 1kw? i ask cause i just built a 5x10 room for Veg and was planing on 2 vertical bare bulbs, Bad idea?

-When you use EWC tea, are you running that through your system? i thought it would muck up your system, don't the beneficials die off quickly?

-looking for an IP cam myself, which model are you using?

Thanks in advance.

More light the better imo. as long as you have proper cooling..

The key is to use a bag of washed lava rock in the epicenter this creates a bio filter and gives the beneficials a place to hang out till the root mass increases. It also collects all the debris from the EWC tea and keeps the water crystal..

Which model EasyN IP Camera do ya have? I am in the market for a good one for my room. Also can you run multiple cameras on the same setup?

Thanks brotha

turbo

Yep you can have multiple cameras with a router. I use the ethernet cables to wire the cameras.

Awesome grow gettogro. You are the tree god.

Not sure about that, but thanks :)

Mr.Getto truelly something wonderful iv'e read this twice but didnt see anything about the size of the epicenter in term of gallons or is it the same size as the other totes thanks bro

I use the same size as the buckets but that isn't in stone

gettogro awesome job I've read every tread you ever made.... from riu, *********, and now icmag. you've inspired me to do a undercurrent system. I'm just waiting on my order uni-seals and water pump then ill be up and running! I'm only working with 8 brute tote(20 gallons) in a 4x8 tent with 2x 2000w scrog style. I've made notes on everything you've done.... but i have one question that no one has asked you in any of the forms..... how long do you flush for in the undercurrent system????

I dont flush really, last few days I run a low ppms around 300, but I use drip clean the whole run. Im sure there are many opinions out there but this works for me, I havent had any complaints..

Just out of curiosity what was the reason you changed your veg system from hydro halo rings to the UC totes?

The hydro halos are a pain in the ass, I I just run a higher water level and occasional hand watering in the UC till there is sufficient root mass in the water. Also the halos keep the grostones wet and green algee forms on the rocks, Might be harmless but I didnt like it..

Little droopy from lights out..

When I chop these down Ill be able to snap some pics with the wide angle gopro.

As far as the lowes cans go, I would use the walmart totes if I did it again. The plants grow wider with the wider root space.
There is the drip ring theory floating around out there that the plants roots want to grow out wide to catch rain water dripping from the outside edge of the plants.. I think there is something to it. The plants dont seem to grow as wide in the lowes cans compared to the 30 gallon totes..

Thanks for the advice about Hydro Halos and algae growth, don't want that either. Intermittent top feed and hand watering are good, especially early on before roots hit water. Just a good recirc w/water levels right in system like you said. Besides the funnel/vortex there are venturis and I like those for DO. I'm lazy for top feed watering and gonna try that so many times per day w/timer pump depending on plant's maturity. I know Heath ran a straight 1/2" open line for top feeding trees no problems. I plan on covering my top feed 1/2" rings w/Orca film too, still air space to add DO.

Best of luck - you got my vote! :D

Pretty sure this is a 14 KW show with 10-600`s and 8-1k`s and........ with 3 lb `ers he`s damn sure got my respect to get plants to that size time after time without root rot , pm , bud mold , and or imminent crop death with the most volatile fast hydro setup there is....after all....

They don`t call it RDWC/Recirculating Death Without Cause for no reason I assure all here.... and for the record.........

18 lbs +/-per room pays the bills ta rinse and repeat next run....and the next run.......so on and so forth......with 6 plants....I mean come on folks...

The fogger tech in and of itself to keep RH in the 70% range is beyond awesome , and the attention to detail in every aspect of this setup screams nothing but professionalism from the get......

Certainly settin the boundaries to aspire to with big plants Bro.......Keep up the killer work GG......and again....Respect........

Gotta watch out for them PPK`ers though cuz they`re gainin ground Bro.....

Peace....DHF......:ying:......

Yeah Fred your right It must have been another thread or unless he is flip flopping and thats the total I could swear I read in one his threads that # of watts could be wrong and probably am.

Yeah PPK's will be the future, specially for people wanting great results without the headache or the expense of fast hydro, but all the results, within reason.

are the foggers working well getto?

I have an ultrasonic fogger and it's not reallly helping much

are you warming up the water ?

mines raising rh by only 5% and floor space is 1.2mtr extraction on lowest and temps at 23 celcius

mines called a mist pro 5 it uses more than 5ltrs a day
