CLEAN VIBES:

^^^ so fresh & clean

^^^^^donut of "pink" pheno flo x grim, the strawberrry-ish smelling/smoking pheno.
the plant on the very bottom of the donut is a Flo, and the plant at about 3 oclock or 4 oclock w larger indica lookin leaves is the chunky diesel, one of it's larger leaves was burnt in veg by growing to close to the light....

all these plants were just today transplanted from 3 to 5 gal containers, will veg another 2 weeks ish then flip.

^^ "tange" or the "colorado tangerine" very flo-y ive heard, also heard tell it could be a NYCD grapefruit pheno, some threads on here about it... one in Rare Dankness the other in Dj short legends

Im thinking this room will end up being 2 donuts of "pink" and one donut of the "tange" and one donut of plants from seed of flo x ogk, for further pheno hunting.... most of my clones of "white" pheno from flo x ogk are kinda smal to flip this round, mayb eif some pop up they will make the cut

ROUND 2 still vegging:

^birds eye view, this donut has been vegging with the bottom tip of the bulb at the top of the canopy. i think veggin flat is better, gets that upward growth better. that's been said i know.....

^^ Chunky D on the left, looking beefy, same cut im running in the cup colosseum currently. all the other plants pictured in the donut are my flo x grimm pink pheno.

T-5`s do such a better job at stackin nodes and building decent laterals for a more symmetrical X-mas tree shape , compared to doin nuthin BUT building laterals and bushin out with bare bulbs along with slowed stretch once flipped 12/12 in the bloom rooms IME......especially with more indica dominant hybrids......anyways......

^^^ next donut taking shape, this one will be all the colorado "tange" cut.... these bitches are bushy like mad, and they dont really like the nutes im givn them, they want lower doses seems like, so im doing my best to accommodate their needs.

got that tange donut completed, dropped in the vert bulb to the top of the canopy.... one more week of veg im thinkin. still got 2 donuts to build-up, got the plants for it, just a matter of selections... taller more vert ready plants

^^^ Looky how branchy them tange's are.... all the way to the base of the stalk, nodey and dense w foliage, altho they did leaf claw when fed 8/16 lucas (GH micro/bloom), they are generally healthy & happy, took some clones off the base few days back.

^^ flo x grimm "pink" the original strawberry ice cream pheno... nice larger leaves.

Hey Avi ,nice grow you got goin' on ...got a few questions for you if you don't mind...

Could you tell me what wattage lights you're using per donut and how big each donut is (inner & outer)?

I see you start out using micro & bloom and eventually drop N all together & use Monster Bloom (0-50-30)...how many ml/gallon do you use,what's the EC?

About what time frame (using lucas formula) would you recommend cutting micro for 8-9 wwek strains & 9-11 week strains?

1k watt lights all around, that's primarily what i use in multi light rooms like this.
size o donut inner & outer? basically when the light is raised up during veg, the plants can be nice and tight circle, it's once the bulb is dropped down into that canopy (week 2 ish perhaps a lil later) that u must watch out for burning. general rule i keep plant growth tips and big leaves 18 inches from the bulb. I've read that for vert u keep the main stalk of ur plant 2 feet from the light, and train branches so they don't fall in too close.

as far as nutes go
I'll prollly drop the N out around week 6, and gonna use MOAB from Mad Farmer instead of gro-teks monster bloom (NPK values are nearly identical, MOAB uses no dyes and probably uses higher quality shit to make it also)
just ballparking here: week 5 reg nutes (8/16 ) week 6 moab at 1 teaspoon per 5 gal (about 250 ppm if i recall correctly) then week 7 same thing, MOAB or a low or no N boost like monsterbloom or koolbloom powder even. weeks 8 & 9 flush.
i generally go 70 days in my rooms.
also, often i drop my base nutes in week 5 and supplement with moab or grotek or koolbloom liquid even..... (i dont have the powder on hand so i've used liquid KB last few runs)

boredom induced chore day....
just filled an aero cloner yesterday, nothing to transplant, nothing needs watering....
what to do?

dug out an old camera setup, s video control box (can use 4 cams, i only have 1 sitting around)
drilled a hole, pulled some cable thru it....

^^ ^^image quality is pretty low, got the black bands rising thru the pic, but i can see all lights and at least some of all the donuts.
you can also clearly see my stand up reflectix light corral.

sitting here on the couch watchin the plants, laughing my ass off.....

i must say that since i moved away from the dirty south, I miss vegetable gardening alot.... not that I could not do it here..... just dont really want to go against the flow.... poor sandy soil, no rain, more exp. water..... grow the herb here in rocky mtn land, that's the flow at the moment.
If I were back home, I'd already have my squash and cucumber seeds started indoor, and be buying starts of tomato's & peppers (never had much luck w niteshade family from seeds). Maybe start some sunflowers....

Daffodills were up & bloomin in my hometown back east by the end of feb. this year.....

All my shit`s in the greenhouse hardening off with all these cold snaps that March is so notorious for round my parts.....

My veggie garden consists of maters , multiple strains of peppers from mild to wild , cucumbers fer pickles , okra , pole beans , broccoli and cauliflower.....everything else we need comes from the Farmer`s Market cuz it`s cheaper ta buy corn , taters , and onions than it is ta grow em ...

Love me some sunflower seeds , but they come from Sam`s in bulk already salted and hulled .....big boiled peanut eater over here , but still buy em at the Farmer`s Market and boil em in my turkey fryers with dried/ground cayenne pepper and jalapeno`s with garlic salt and pearl onions...anyways.....

You`ll haveta visit Fred-ville some of these days when yas go back home....we`ll burn some meat and other things.......

Glad things `re kickin fer yas my buddy.....even in them damn cold ass mtns.........

I've decided to put one of my exhaust fans (maybe both) on a thermostat.
with both fans on & my intake air being soooo icey cold.... room gets a lil cool sometimes
would like for one or both fans to cut off when the rooms gets to 74 or so....

^donut #3: white pheno of flo x Karma's white ogk v.1 my keeper thus far.

^^ (big hunk of quartz crystal in the center) Donut #4: flo x ogk & flo x grimm from seed, pretty sure they are all females some more indica looking plants than from previous runs of these 2 seed batches.

I figure that i will have to get at least one more fan for beneath bulbs, probably should just go for it and get a fan beneath each bulb. In case anyone didnt know, it does make an immense difference in how close branches/ leaves can get to the bulb without burning.

^^ donut # 2 : the "tange"-nut; raised the bulb above the canopy so i raised the fan up also, just placed it on an empty GH 6 gal jug. Does the trick just fine.

^^ the room as the camera sees it.... you can see my lil work area in the back corner; and my reflectiz light corral all rolled up. Donut #4 is closest. #3 is by the door, you can see #2 the tange-nut w it's fan, and donut #1 of "pink"s is basically out of the picture, unfortunately....
