Very interesting set-up. You can totally see the soil,and in turn the plants getting better.

I think it will be pretty cool to see how this evolves over time. I am waiting to see if not having any run off has any effect on the bed over a long period of time. I am trying to water with RO water in the winter and rain water only in the spring/summer/fall. I am hoping that will cut down on buildup in the soil.

It is really smelling good in the room now, the satori's are over powering everything else at the moment. The malawi's are starting to fatten and trichome out...the end is near!

Few more weeks to go on the satori's and the wwxstsm, about 6 to go on the malawi.

Took the "bubba kush" down. I am running low and I don't really like indica's much so it was what got the early chop to put something back into the jars. It will get a full run coming up later.

Here are some day 54 photos. Down to the last few weeks for the satori and ww x stsm indica.

Still a long ways out for the malawi, even though it is looking more done than the satori's are. I am kind of curious if there is a 9-10 week phenotype in the Ace malawi regulars. It is stacking and filling rapidly, growing noticeably each day.

On with the show..

First the satori's

The lowest satori branch of the bunch!

This is the Ace Malawi. I wanted to get a good bud structure shot to see if anyone recognised the phenotype at all. It is looking pretty mature for a 54th day in an 11-14 week cycle.

This is my Nirvana White Widow male x Sam the skunkman "indica" female. It stacks very nicely is quite dense and is quite strong. I still have a mother plant of this cut to continue working with.

I haven't been able to come up with a name for this cut, so we need to come up with something!

I will update later with a view of the entire bed and some dried "bubba" shots and a smoke report.

2 satori's..

This is the Nirvana ww x stsm indica.. It is coming along nicely. Should be well done in another week or two, I may let it go 11 weeks this round.

Last is the Ace malawi. This plant is doing well also, really dense but not much scent at all at this point.

The more no-till beds out there the better! Grow one, you will not want to go back.


Here are some day 63 randoms...

First..the cluster that is Malawi..its great. This plant will take very well to trellising, very dense. It should be damn near perfect for a vertical screen setup. I just hope it really does finish as quickly as it looks like it might. This plant was bent and twisted to keep its height in check, the next two clones I flower will be untopped and untrained to see what they do.

Well I had a bunch of day 70 pictures and harvest shots...but my computer had some problems and apparently the SD card got infected also.. So I lost em all.

All I have now is picture of each a week after cut.

First up is the satori..

I believe this to be a skyrocket pheno. It has a very nice heavy flavor that just lingers on your tongue..it just tastes of raunchy weed.. that is the best I can describe. It is a very complex deep flavored weed taste. It is a very nice up high that will last for a couple of hours before your just ready for another taste. This cut has been my daily smoke for quite a while now.

Next up is Ace's Malawi. I should have let this go longer but I was in need to get the room cleaned. I like the description from Ace's website on the flavor.. This pheno is very oily, woody flavored. No lemon in this one at all. The initial taste is of greasy flowers then it changes to a woody boquet on the exhale leaving you with the feeling of a cloudy coating in the mouth.

This hit's you right in the back of the eyes seconds after taking the first hit. After the initial wave a nice calm relax is followed by a ready to do shit attitude!

And the WW x sam the skunkman..

This is our nighttime smoke. Very indica dominant, quite strong, and very tastey. I am not a fan of most indica flavors, I prefer woody, spicy sativa's. The flavor of this is a nice mix of both that works well. It has an initial mentholated kushy taste that mellows into a very mild spiciness. A few puff's of this and sleep comes quite easily.

The next round was transplanted last week and are vegging for about a month before flip. I will be back later with some pictures of whats going on in the room currently.

So here we go, onto the next round.

This one will be:

2 x Ace Malawi clones

1 x Mandala Satori bansai mum

1 x ww x stsm indica bonsai mum

I am cleaning out my veg cab to make way for some things I will post later!

All of these were taken at day 7 from transplant into the bed. A few more weeks and flower will be go.

You got it! This used to be a shower, the base is still in place if I ever want to go back to useable. I just capped the drain for the toilet and removed the old vanity sink. My entire grow area with veg and bloom and mechanics is all in a 4x7 room.


Did some work today..added my amendments for the next run..Kelp, alfalfa, rock phosphate, glacial rock dust, atomize, sulfur and oyster shell meal.

After that I did a layer with 2 large heads of greens( kale, lettuce, spinach). Doesn't matter it is just an easily digestible nutrient to get the bed moving.

After that I added a layer of leaf mould/grass clippings that were used as mulch in my outdoor beds. Then a layer of earthworm castings was mixed into the leaf/grass mix..

After this I did a foliar of cilantro and aloe, then watered 5 gallons of straight ACT.

Tea consisted of: (5 gallon water)
2 cups EWC
1/2 cup kelp meal
3 tsp black strap
3 tbl agave
1/4 cup lacto bacilli
1 gel of large aloe leaf, added 1 hour before tea was done.

Can't wait to get a few run's through this bed and run some better plants!
