Hacktivist group Anonymous, along with numerous other hackers, is planning a massive cyber-attack on Israel, threatening to “erase” the country from Internet. Israel is apparently taking the threats seriously, with defensive preparations underway.
“Hacktivists Starting Cyber Attack against Israel on 7th of April,” Anonymous wrote on Twitter, calling on hackers around the world to join up for a second ‘OpIsrael.’

Israeli government agencies are reportedly readying for the attack: “It’s something being organized online over the past few days. What distinguishes this plan when compared to previous attacks is that it really seems to be organized by Anonymous-affiliated groups from around the world in what looks like a joining of forces,” Ofir Ben Avi, director of online group Accessible Government told Haaretz.

The first ‘OpIsrael’ cyber-attacks were launched by the hacktivist group during Israeli’s ‘Pillar of Defense’ assault on Gaza in November 2012.
“We are Anonymous. We are legion. We will not forgive. We will not forget. Israel, it is too late to expect us,” their message to Israeli authorities read.

Some 700 Israeli website suffered repeated cyber-attacks, including high-profile government systems such as the Foreign Ministry, and the Israeli President's official website. The Israeli Finance Ministry reported an estimated 44 million unique attacks on government websites.

Following ‘OpIsrael,’ Anonymous posted the online personal data of 5,000 Israeli officials, including names, ID numbers and personal emails.

Anonymous was also involved in an attack in which the details of some 600,000 users of the popular Israeli email service Walla were exposed online.

Anonymous are 99.99% script kiddies using other peoples point'n'click software. And why are they targeting Israel ... why not say, North Korea!? They're basically no different to a botnet flooding a website (ie. lame, and requiring no skills - just an address to target), but it's actually a slightly less effective model due to each attacking computer being controlled by a different human individual, as opposed to a botnet that has 1 master and countless slave machines. Any hacker with any decent skills simply won't bother wasting their time on useless teenybopper crap like floods, because they're too busy having even more fun making money. They also usually start to realise how lame it is when they turn 18 and become fully legally responsible for themselves, and plenty of Anonymous *cough*hackers*cough* have been arrested, probably because they're too stupid to hide their tracks, or bragging (lol).

Why not go after something meaningful if the talent is really there to do so, or is "anonymous" just another full of shit low talent big mouth? Publish the names, address and contact information for EVERYONE involved in supporting the wars etc etc etc? EVERYONE. Show some balls "anonymous". Ha, you have no balls.

Where was "anonymous" when the gop stole the election and gave it to another war monger which was just the same as handing us 4 more years of obama, another war monger? There was only one guy who was telling the truth and who had a track record to back it up, and one guy who if you closed your eyes while he was speaking you could have seen Thomas Jefferson in your mind. But he was made out to be everything but what he is, a great statesmen, a great medical doctor and a libertarian who would absolutely stand on the side of all of us in freedom. EVERY other candidate was for more war, more spending, more debasement of the currency but this asshole is threatening israel? LOL

Maybe "anonymous" is on the federal payroll? More nonsense and propaganda that means nothing as far as any change. Zero.

The way I see it

These punks choose the most retarded targets.

Fucking law firms and banks should be the real target.

But I guess the C.I.A/N.S.A. Wouldnt want to attack their masters....

From "10 Major Cybercrime Busts of 2012" published just a few days ago - http://threatpost.com/en_us/blogs/ten-major-cybercrime-busts-031213 ...

Anonymous No Longer Anonymous: The hacking collective known as Anonymous has been conducting attacks against selected commercial and political targets for several years and law enforcement agencies have been struggling to get inside the organization and take it down for just as long. One of the first big successes was a series of arrests by law enforcement in several countries of Anonymous members in several countries. The people arrested were accused of launching attacks against sites in Chile, Colombia and other countries.

Feds Nab Sabu: In March 2012, law enforcement had perhaps its biggest success to date against Anonymous, when agents arrested Sabu, a reputed leader of the Anonymous offshoot known as LulzSec. The arrest of Sabu sent shockwaves through the underground community and began a slow unraveling of the group. Sabu, whose real name is Hector Xavier Monsegur, has been cooperating with the FBI and his sentencing has been delayed several times, most recently in February.

this made me LOLZ. If they start attacking banks and law firms the CIA will start shooting them. If they found Bin Laden they can find script kiddies. The CIA is one organization I would never fuck with.
