Alien's Gear: LAD/Tahoe Alien/Grenades

These got wet today! The packaging is different because of the sources involved.

I'm quite stoked to run these together. I want to see what Alien saw in these two strains to create Starfighter(LADxTHA).

I haven't seen any Alien stuff done in aero, so we will be trailblazing the nutes and prune regimen.

The plan here is to germ all 33 and hopefully find 18 females to clone out and then bloom in aero, using my usual methods.

I'll do a germ report in a couple days.


If anyone has days bloom data, relative heights, or pix of any of these, please feel free to toss them up here. It would be much appreciated!

Good luck, man...hope you find a keeper... I just finish that LAD, and I'm not very happy with yields, good looking and smelling buds but small, I'll smoke after week to see how is the high, may be I didn't have luck to find better pheno...

P.S: IMO Alien seeds are overpriced

The last LAD sprouted - so I got 100% germination on all strains.

I've seen yields all over the place for LAD on the net. I'll bloom in aero, so figuring out the nutes early will be critical for them to perform decently. Here's hopin!

hey there aerokrafter- i did a search for lemon alien dawg and stumbled on your farm. i have 4 lad's in the 5th wk of veg. 1 has already shown female preflowers. i'm also growing 1ogr feminized wifi and 5 cannaventure cookie wrecks. the lad's are by far the most vigous and fast growing plants. i've had to lst them into pretzels so the other strain catchup. good luck on your grow!!

Got some lad going myslef only 1 girl out of 5 beans but she looks good and reminds me of the starfighters I have in smell.
I got another lad clone from a friend to run along with my lad. Also with that I got a alien grapevine clone too so I'm hoping for some good stuff out of that one..

Everyone came up, but 2 LADs got eaten. So here is where we are. I'll let these 31 sprouts grow out for a month or so, and then we will start the lady hunt.

I just finished a round and only popped 5 of my LAD`s and i can tell you, that your are in for a treat my friend. I had to breakdown recently and can`t wait to run a whole room of the LAD. The pheno i found has to almost 80-100% Indica. Absolutely zero stretch in flower and puts on wonderfull golf ball size nugz ( i ran in a 3 gallon smart pot). I can attest that the yeild isnt spectacular but the smoke for sure is. Flavor is someonewhat of a grape skittles skunk. Tastes just like she smells. I walked into my homies house with 2-3 grams and could smell me from the door before he even knew what i had in my pocket. Id post a pick but i smoked it before i could get the cam out. Oh yea from what i can tell she isnt a heavy feeder. I am running her at like 1/2 -3/4 strengh botanicare line and she seems to be loving it. I will try an post a couple pics of my homies. He is running a few of them for me to get a 2nd look in our homemade drip system

Ima keep an eye for ur alien grenades ( on my list of pickups)

Veg Update





Everyone has made it through seedling stage. I'll continue to veg these out and sex them.

We should be ready to go to the cloner in 3-4 weeks.

No runts or mutants evident at this point. Lotta nice lookin plants!

I've run Kraken, alien grenades, tahoe alien bubblegum,and ewok some of the most over rated stuff I've seen in years 50 plus beans 0 keepers. hope you have better luck than I did.

I was seriously thinking about picking up some lad this weekend. I got starfighter F2's though from Jaws so I'm thinking I should just pop those and look for a lad leaning pheno.

I gotta agree with GWB on alien genetics as a whole though I've run all the same strains and am not very impressed. I've run grenades, bubblegum, ewok, kraken, and optimus prime. I found some nice plants that finish fast, but nothing worthy of that price tag, except for one.

My kraken keeper was def worth the price spent, and will be around for a long time.

I have a single crash helmet around 6 weeksbflower which again seems pretty good but nothing amazing guess we'll see...

Funk, I forgot about the optimus, I've run that one too.there was one good pheno of kraken I had that others may have kept but I just wasn't that impressed after that I thought ewok was the best of the whole lot but in general big let down for a ridiculous price.

So this leaves us with 11 females. To fill in the extra spaces, I have added 7 Alien Rock Candy females that I originally had set up for another experiment. Just made sense to make this an all Alien Affair.

ARC - 15 germ, 7 Females


This gives me the optimum number of plants - 18. I hope to get all these rooted in the next three weeks. At that point I'll top and prune them to grow out for another 2 weeks of veg.

I'm running these to see if there is any fire in all the smoke. I objectively do these seed runs - if its crap I say so. As for what the seeds cost - I'm more interested in their Value. I am interested in hearing all of your experiences - good or bad. Feel free to upload any related pics to the thread. Any stretch tips would be appreciated - since this will be a difficult canopy to plan as it is.

I'm aware of folks finding herms. I run a very tight ship with a proven track record and obsessively observe these runs. I will share all I find as we go along. I intend to give these plants the best opportunity to thrive.

There is a lot of pictures through google images, mostly on the farm. I found a better pheno
in napalm og which (Alien Kush F1 x Tahoe Alien) I found a few Tahoe Alien's that were really nice too.

I took CC's Tahoe Alien and made TA x TA, then hit the best pheno out of the 12 I tested, with Tahoe Alien from Alien Genetics and call her Triple Tahoe Alien....i think Swerves TA was a bit stronger and Alien Genetics more beastly....so have the best of both, represented now..DJ
