thanks everyone
look forward to seeing some pics

lots of old timers (40+) are still growing that strain out here from the same cuttings from the late 90s early 2000s

not sure what the appeal of it is, but they seem to love it same with black domino and champagne

if you ever happen to stumble on some do take some pics i'm curious as to what it looks like

Interesting read. I also happen to be flowering out 2 chemo x grapefruit females that were also from a group of my friends back in the cannabisworld/overgrow days. I think these seeds may have come from Vic High.
Out of ten seeds, i got 2 females. They looked identical during veg but are now completely worlds apart in terms of structure now 45 days into flower. The one "grapefruit" pheno has dense popcorn nugs with very little leaf and stretchy stems. sort of look like small dense nugs every 4-6 inches with the top of each branch being a 3 inch long cola. It smells very low key except for a slight scent of orange rind, is the best way i can describe it. The other pheno that i will call the "chemo" pheno, is very squat, not having stretched much at all in flowering as compared to the "grapefruit" pheno. This plant reminds me of a northern lights strain, with lots of leaf, but with big nugs. Incredibly, when i put my nose in to a nug to get a smell, it has NO smell!! Both phenos are sticky though. Only time will tell. Ill post some pics of the phenos once i pull.

Hey all, we have a Chemo cutting in Ontario, I believe it may be original Chemo. It is the strongest Indica I have ever tried. It makes any other Indica Ive tried seem weak. In excess it can knock down even the most tolerant growers. The cut has been around since the mid 90s and is an outdoor staple locally amongst 40-60 year old crowds. Although the plant is usually quite late October 15 at least ,and Im sure November 15 Chemo would be amazing, though Ive only had it end of October and it was knockout. The plant is bushy, wide, dark green. It doesnt stretch much at all, but can get bud rot issues in wet weather. The smoke hasn't much flavor, a bit skunky, hashy, getting sweeter indoor it seems, but this is not for taste! What raw potency,it even seems to effect gravity! This cut is the best herb I have ever tried for nausea and stomach issues. It is also great for sleep, or if your just into couchlock Indicas. Let me know if this sounds like real Chemo... if not and real Chemo might be even stronger i must find it!!!! hahahahah thanks - Dr Freedom

could be the montreal chemo
does it have a granny smith apple / amber / hash taste? real sticky buds? one thing about the montreal chemo is when it vegs the cuttings seem to stretch out a bit between nodes, like when one goes to take cuttings, there is a bit of stretch between the nodes / it is not a stretchy plant per se..

Our Chemo is really sticky, but its the growth sounds different. Ours is a short internoded plant, it can get really bushy and loves to feed. One thing about the Chemo is the harsh smoke, it makes everyone cough . I sometimes wonder if our cut is even "Chemo" , but why would someone rename an already awesome cut as something else?! I still have yet to find any Indica that smokes as hard as this Chemo.

Has anyone tried Jordan of the Islands Chemo or Chemo hybrids? I was thinking of picking up a few packs. I'd love to hear any input, thanks - Dr Freedom

got to try some on friday from an old timer stuck in his ways grower....only grows ubc....started with it.....been running it for 10 yrs since he was shown how to grow for his pain..

Ended up sitting at the milenium library by the funky fountain for an hour...almost reminded me a touch like having a poppy tea nod....

Sadly when the guy sweats it he squeezes it into little rock hard pebbles almost...nothing bigger than a loony....most about the size of a robins egg...

Got the sample for a old lady going through chemo...she refused again (yet chews synth thc pills)...smokes like a chimney......asks for a sample...then refused...ughh...

So I smoked it myself :) I would have loved to see it un-squished to see if it was similar to the strain from emery back in 1998-99-00 (memory aint what it used to be)

And of course I'm trying to get a slip.... Doubt it is breeders quality, probably from seed...but collecting is addictive.
