beware of addon laws in MMJ states

I live in Florida, some say FLa is in a race to last place in the MMJ legalization race. Finding medical grade cannabis here isnt very easy. But the weather is IMO, in conjunction with the cost of living, is the best in the nation. Day in and day out, no place better. I've looked at other states that are MMJ legit, most of them are COLD! some, even in the summer. But there is Hawaii but too expensive with absolutly the best weather but in other threads they speak of helicopter sweeps like they are every day. In Arizonas desert valleys, temps ar very hot to OK but if you move there, you can not obtain a growin licence if you live within 25miles of a dispensary. 25miles. and if there is no dispensary within 25miles and you do get a licence, that is good for 1 year until renewal, when you must renew it and a dispensary has since opened up within 25 miles they will not renew your licence. Some states restrict CDL licences, otheres do not allow owning firearms if you have a card.. what are some other state addon deterants. I'm told that in NJersey its legal but there are no dispensaries..?? yes? thats how you get ahead of the curve but are still safe... legally.. with the feds.

Dispensaries suck. Lotsa heat from the Feds and lotsa regulations from the states. Bad news for the average patient. Grow your own.

bashing? i guess i am.. wasnt the idea of the post. i already said fla is a joke. but what youre telling about the federal laws is what i was trying to get at. you (i guess) all in those legal states know, how, where, why of those laws.. , I would like to know some of those overlooked parts of those laws, that arent 'upfront'. and if i were in an mmj state would I want them to know what I'm doing? so they can track me down if some law changes? or Hawaii where they conduct searches of grows for compliance.. and dont get me wrong, knowing that compliance makes it legal. Would I still be underground? Afterall, alcohol is legal but stills are still in operation everywhere. Grow your own.

Sorry. Wasn't meaning it to sound like I was harshing on ya.

Every state is different and has different laws regarding MMJ. I always advise people to keep their medical status private. In most instances, as long as you are in compliance you should be OK but I believe that you should always treat the entire experience as if you are still "illegal".

Everything is changing by the day in these states. All we can do is read/educate ourselves and try to keep abreast of the latest crap coming down the pipe.

'weather is good' is my middle name.. and I can snowbird. can ya gimme the name of a good town there? I'll look. I lived in Spokane for a year in the early 90s. great place for motorcycles! wasnt good for making a living.. now i'm not having to worry about that. thanks for the advice.

No more plants allowed...but the newer laws make much more sense for harvested quantities for caregivers etc...plus medical privacy is better as well.

maybe so but I've known few ppl who have purchased firearms at gun store passed background check and registered there handguns, also CCW. on the bust depends on the local I know one had his firearms looked at left in place and he still owns them


now that said all this new antigun push maybe they'll enforce the current laws on books and go after new buyers who are med patients unsure . and of course if the new laws be passed any med patient with registered firearms will be gettn a letter to turn them in.

new york gun confiscation under way google it you'll see what's in store when HIPPA is done away with. that's a reason for the mental health push part of the bill
