Bad News - Mrs. MPD Diagnosed with Stage IV Lung & Liver Cancer (SCLC)

Okay, so we got the diagnosis today. Mrs. MPD is facing the wall and our lives are going to change. She has end-stage emphysema so I don't think she can survive chemo so I need to look at THC hemp oil. I had stopped growing earlier this year due to an electrical fire in the growbox, so I will be starting a new grow forthwith. In the meantime, I live in Texas, so there is no medical marijuana and I have to figure out how I can get my hands on some immediately for treatment (thoughts on that welcome). But I have read a lot of the stuff on using the oil as a topical to help battle the growth of the tumors.

The current diagnosis is for two growths in her left lung: (i) one (1) lesion being 2.1 x 1.6 x 1.6cm in the perihilar region; and (ii) one (1) lesion of approximately 2.5 x 2.3 x 2.1 cm. There may be small lymph nodes in both hilar regions. There are multiple low density lesions in the liver with the larges being 2.6 x 2.5cm in the axial dimension. There is mild dilatation of the common bile duct.

I don't think she should smoke the meds because it will irritate her emphysema, but I am looking for advice and help on oral and topical uses.

All thoughts welcome.

Is there hemp wild growing near you? An oil extract of those buds should contain cbd..someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Also flax oil contains cbd so consuming lots of that should also help. Get shiitake mushrooms and reishi mushrooms if you can, shiitake to eat and reishi for daily tea. Extracts of reishi are good, try fungiperfecti.com
Is there also someone near you with trim to donate for processing or what about a pound or 2 of brickweed to oil with ethanol quick soaks?

Sad news. If it's at all possible to move to Cali or Colorado, that's what I would do. There, you will have access to what you need, and lots of experienced caregivers. Texas is a ruthless place for cannabis as you know.

Yeah, it is what it is. We aren't going to go anywhere as we have the house and the dogs and we don't have a lot of time. The research I did today says she won't make it to Christmas. I'm into supportive care and focusing on using our favorite herb and its various forms to combat this bad deal. We are going to rip the fucking guts out of this cancer. You watch. I'm on this shit like a chicken on a June bug.

^You want the holy anointing oil. The cbd heavy cannabis oil is what you are looking for. It stops tumor growth and divsolves the current tumors. It needs to have cbds, hemp oil alone wont do it.

also there is two things that all caner patients have in common. They dont release melatonin and inflammation. Taking melatonin and Advil will help with those two causes.

First off, may I say I'm very sorry to hear what the mrs is going threw, I hope I can help or atleast point you the right direction.

Making decraboxylated hash oil(RSO) is super easy, I suggest using 190 proof ethanol instead of naptha like rick suggests. If your not familiar with making solvent extracts, decarboxylation or tinctures. Before I explain furthur, check out these very helpful links below.

mpd: idk if I'd rely totally on a tincture, at this point in time. I've tried an excellent CBD tincture and I have tried the oil, as well. If this were me, I'd want both! really! And use a cbd tincture for long term management, if oil is not preferred. The Proper~CBD tincture is made from oil, so I figure, skip the process and stick to the oil. Less processing.

Cannabis and your tender loving care, is what is required here! Sending you the best of results in your endeavor and concern, for you and yours~for a cure and I am sure Cannabis will be a major part of it, I hope!

If you aren't cross-eyed from it all yet, here's more.

Marijuana cuts lung cancer tumor growth in half, Harvard study shows
http://current.com/community/897997...-tumor-growth-in-half-harvard-study-shows.htm
"The active ingredient in marijuana cuts tumor growth in common lung cancer in half and significantly reduces the ability of the cancer to spread, say researchers at Harvard University who tested the chemical in both lab and mouse studies.

They say this is the first set of experiments to show that the compound, Delta-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), inhibits EGF-induced growth and migration in epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) expressing non-small cell lung cancer cell lines. Lung cancers that over-express EGFR are usually highly aggressive and resistant to chemotherapy.

THC that targets cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2 is similar in function to endocannabinoids, which are cannabinoids that are naturally produced in the body and activate these receptors. The researchers suggest that THC or other designer agents that activate these receptors might be used in a targeted fashion to treat lung cancer"

vitamins and minerals are equally important:
Omegas (flaxseed works better in women than men)
Vit B's

I like tumeric and pepper, as in this link..copied a portion of it, you must be tired of clicking links! sorry for sending more.

Tumeric:(NaturalNews)" For countless centuries, turmeric has been used not only as a spice but as a healing aid in traditional Asian medicine. For example, historically it has been consumed to help gastrointestinal problems, arthritic pain, and a lack of energy. And in recent years, scientists have documented that tumeric and the natural compound it contains called curcumin may protect and heal due to anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-cancer properties."

In fact, as NaturalNews previously reported, researchers at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center have found that curcumin, when combined with piperine (a component of black pepper), could play an important role in preventing and even treating breast cancer (http://www.naturalnews.com/027831_turmeric_piperine.html). Now a new study

Tumeric Overview: health.howstuffworks.com/wellness/natural-medicine/alternative/turmeric6.htm
"Turmeric also looks promising as a treatment for lung and prostate cancer as well as childhood leukemia. Studies have shown that turmeric can completely stop the replication of leukemia cells in a cell culture [source: WHFoods]. While more time and resources are needed to unlock the full potential of turmeric, early results are encouraging."

An approach of, if it doesn't hurt, it must help! Won't hurt a bit. I've been reading about baking soda and how it is used, as well. There is plenty of information. I am simply sold on cannabis oil, and tumeric does help with nausea/and helps detoxify the liver, as well.:ying: ginger/tumeric tea works well for nausea. Not all pot helps nausea, I had that problem once.
