good call with greg brown, didm. ime the "new bob dylan" or "modern bob dylan" tags usually means they are a watered down version of 60s dylan. and no one is doing 60s dylan better than dylan did so its almost always a bad thing. greg brown sounds good and doesnt need any dylan comparisons.

chris smither should be more well known. seen him live a number of times and he is fantastic.

if this doesnt get you tappin your foot or noddin your head you might be dead.

Down To Seeds And Stems Again

Down To Seeds And Stems Again

This is by: Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen

I remember seeing him live at the The Armadillo World Headquarters (usually called simply The 'Dillo) which is across the street from University of Texas at Austin.

This is where I learned to "Eat the Worm" out of a bottle of Tequila.
My friends and I were sitting outside, where they had large speakers and a bar. This was the overflow crowd, but also the Stoner Crowd. After we figured out they didn't care if we smoked outside, we rarely went inside.

I ended up with this chick sitting on my lap, showing me how to eat the worm.

Love that place and I love that tune.
