Hi GS, I've been visiting this thread since like the 2nd day I got on ICMag.

I really enjoy your bud shots, with the progressing zoom in with each shot, very well done.

But I have a question, why is almost everything untrimmed? Don't get me wrong, your buds look delish and the selection is definitely good but the dead leaf ends almost distract from the frosty greens. Just Curious :)

Thanks!

Trimming is a product of prohibition and damages buds. I prefer my personal untouched. I once trimmed 3 small Congo's over a screen. At the end I had 3 oz. of congo and over a gram of hash under the screen from the trim process. I prefer those trichs for smoking please. Peace GS

in the future untrimmed buds will be a sign of quality, for those who know.. the uberflushed remnants are what we want to see..

I totally agree with the concept of wanting to see a nice flush and keep the bud untouched.

With the massive amounts of Cannabis lovingly tended under the sun in the PNW. Not trimming outdoor will never be an option.

There really is a point where trimming is a detriment to the quality but a skilled trimmer can avoid it pretty easily while removing a large amount of wood.

If broken down and trimmed carefully coupled with a diligent cure can produce some very nice results

when it comes to indoor it is a whole other story I suppose.

I never do much more than remove the crowsfeet.

But cheers to more quality flushed and organic headstash making the rounds

Mandala Sadhu...not my strongest stash but has a particular flavor and effect not found in many Indica dom hybrids...really happy smoke that i tend to associate with Hazes

EDIT: I'm with GS that I don't manicure my buds like a commercial grower does but leave em just like GS does...i don't make Hash but I do make edibles (using the whole bud with leaves)...i'd rather smoke all those extra glands than save em for Hash or edibles...then again i've never had Hash in 20yrs of smoking so i don't know what i'm missing

Nice Cannivore.

Sublimating Congolese with a coffee. Peace GS

ps. Skip doesn't want me posting all 5 pics, so I have cut it down to 3. I am however allowed to post all 5 pics on 3 other sites. I know I am not allowed to mention them, but folks are resourceful

No Pictures (yet.. I will try today to take one worthy of posting). I am smoking TrainWreck. It is the Real Deal and like returning to an old friend. If you got a coke a cola in the past hundred years you have seen change. Not so with Trainwreck. I got an oz for $180 and do not regret it a bit. My source for it Seems to be endless and that makes me happy. At least now I don't have to grow it. I do need to train my source a bit about trimming and curing, but outside of that I am very well pleased.
