believe me, i would love to have a basement built room grow. the tents should work out perfectly for me at this time. i have a 1200sq' basement. but im renting (from a buddy), so i needed the tents for ease of taking down if needed .my fience and i plan on getting a house soon. just need to get my ass back to work after quitting in early jan.

i hear ya, thats why i got tents, if i could i would set up my 2k in a vert set up and do bushes, only bad thing about the tent is they suck in from the fans.
well im about 90% done making myDIY carbon scrubber. this is one big bish!! i poured 100oz of premium activated charcoal and i need more. it filled about 3/4 the way full. lol im sr this monster will have no problems keeping up with the dank smell and the 440cfm fan. im also putting a charcoal activeated hvac filter along side my normal house filter. just an added precaution in-case any smell permiate above to the ground level. can never be too cautious no adays. off to lowes for more 6" ducting and 3 booster fans, 2 for the veg room and 1 for the flower room, then 2 oscillating fans for circulation and root/stem strengthening.
oh when the lights get turned on at Demons house........ sorry, was trying to make a play on a song.
so i FINALLY started testing my tents on thursday!!!!!! about time, i know. i ran both tents, lights on (600w xl ac cool tube) w/o my fan running. im doing a basement tent grow x2 tents. ambient tent temp is 66/67*. after 5 hrs of the lights on, the tent temps were a 86/87 (87 being max temp in flower tent, i have to find my notes about optimal temp and humidity numbers)). this was a sealed tent run, no intake or exhaust fans, no fans inside tent, and no fan running on my ac cool tube hood. ill deffinately need a fan speed controller for the ac hood on medium to low (running 6" 440 cfm vent tech fans). getting a 6" 250 booster fan for air intake, and an 8" 500 cfm booster fan for exhaust, and 2 clipon fans for inside air circulation. ill try and secure some clones tomorrow form my old cg (pineappple express), and ordered some beans from attitude (barneys farm) pineapple chunk (5 fem pineapple express x skunk x cheese, and 5 fem laughing budda). getting my last minute odds and ends today as well (soil, nutes, fans, planters, ect). i have an 18 gallon water bin and a double air pump w/double air stones to enrichen the h2o and get rid of the chloride.
my old CG mentioned about my soil mix i was going to use and said go with the KISS soil my first run. i was gonna run 1 bag FFOF, 1 bag FF original, 1 bag FF light warrior, FF peace of mind 5-8-4 1 cup, 25% bag of pearlite. but he said just use 1 bag promix to eliminate any possible "hot" issues or other potential issues that might arise. i dunno. was thinking of using promix for clones, seedlings, then after 1.5' switch to my FF soil mix. so many options, so much more money. lol
anyways, thanks for all the help, and for reading my novels. just excited to get things growing. off to home depot, and to the grow stores for my last minute items.

1 week left untill my 21 days are up for me being allowed to posses plants. i forgot to send it in earleir. the veg tent testing is ALL done and dialed in......for the moment. 4x4x7 dr120 tent, 6" XL ac cool tube with 6" 440cfm fan with speed controller(50% power), 8" 550cfm booster exhaust fan, 6" 250 cfm booster intake fan (excellent neg tent pressure), 2 5" clipon fans for air circulation. stable tent temps are 77* during a 10hr test run. ambient basemen air is 65* pretty much year round. athing from 50-100% cool tube fan power doesnt not change tent temps. so 50% power it is.
