Hey guys, thought I’d share my completed grow with you all. Here are the specs:

Extraction: TDS Silent 106CFM fan, Rhino carbon filter, acoustic ducting and a silencer.
Lighting: 250w CMH for veg and a HPS for flower
Pots & Substrate: Air pot hempies with coco/perlite 70/30
Nutrients: Plant Magic Coco, Dutch Master Reverse, Big Bud and Overdrive
Strains: Female Seeds Bubblegummer and C99
Technique: Vert SCROG

Here you can see the growcab:

It sits under my desk where I work so it's nice and stealthy ;)

The fan extracts out the side via silencer. I also keep my rez here.

Plants were vegged for 3-4 weeks then flipped. Here they are just before I flipped them:

(how annoying is the image limit per post!)

Pre flip:

9 weeks later here they are prechop:

C99 #1 (some unavoidable burning unfortunately)

Thought I'd show you how well the airpot hempies work as well:

Here it is curing nicely :)

Final yields:

BG: 153g
C99: 90g
Total: 243g

So just under a gram per watt :)

The high from both strains is really, really good (though I may be biased ;)) - much better than the stuff I've been buying (and paying ridiculous amounts for!).

Things I'm going to do for the next grow to try and hit a gram per watt+:

1) Trim earlier on and more aggressively during/post stretch - I let the girls grow too much so the plants wasted energy growing a lot of foliage and a large number of branches that I ended up removing later on anyway
2) Grow a strain that displays more indica characteristics as based on the BG to C99 yield plants like this may be better suited to this type of grow
3) Tie plants back into mesh as oppose to scrogging (hopefully this will make them easier to maintain)
4) Have a plan of how I want the plant to grow into the mesh as in what number of branches, growing where etc (open to suggestions on this!)
5) Use blumats

I decided on Nebula from Paradise Seeds as my next strain. It's meant to be an excellent yielder with a decent high and grows like an indica - so it ticks all the boxes!

Here you can see the babies freshly transplanted (with some root porn for good measure ;))

Hope you enjoyed the post! If anyone does have any input on how best to train the plants for this small scrog screen it'd be much appreciated! Cheers!

Id also recomend Snow Fruit as the branching on all the SF i have grown out is impressive. Check out the Snow Fruit Micro grow in the Sweet Seeds forum.

Thanks guys!

Here they are as of just now. I'm still not sure what to do about training. I'm thinking of just letting them grow naturally half way up the scrog then flip them and prune as necessary during the stretch. Sound good?

Isnt it accepted practice to prune after stretch.. I know some strains can recover quicker than others but still...

Well if I can see unnecessary branches developing I may as well remove them so the plant can focus on the branches I do wish to develop. Though you are right in that the majority of the pruning will take place towards the end/after the stretch.

Thanks noyd :thank you:

Hej there,
well done man! I like your box very much, it's so compact and seems quite well dialed.

I just started a grow after a long time of idling, 250watter vert as well, but my box is way bigger I guess. How did you manage to get everything running? What are your measures?

I have questions about pot size as well, though I know that coco works way better than soil. And how long did you veg them? They seem quite vigorous and healty in the pre-flip shots.

Overall congratulations again!

keep up

Stellar job Eol,1/2 lb from a 250 ain't something to scoff at.

true story... I've used more light and bigger spaces to get a 1/2lb! :biglaugh:

Way to show what's possible with small dialed rooms. ;)

Of course, the smaller it is... the easier to dial it all in.
