How and when do you decide which ones to lollipop? When I re-did my LSTs the other night I had unfortunately let them go for several weeks and there was a bunch of straggly crap at the bottom. I nipped one branch off of each plant. I picked one with a super long stretch and very small looking bud site. I'm at week 3 of flower. I'm hoping that doesn't stress the plants out too much, but it was just too cluttered.

Week 3 shouldn't be to late. I do mine up to 2 weeks before flower or between days 10-14 of flower.

good question Tesla, i was just wondering how late i can take em to try pick out the males first, and Socialist helped me out really well via pm thingy. Thanks man!

all this type of info is priceless info for me. So im all good man, learnin more by each post. But it was deffo a wise choice pm'ing you, learnt quite a bit in a few simple sentences..respect to u mate.

fed em earlier on. I cant feed em in the tent, as they look too squashed in , so i give em about 15mins outside, just to stretch a bit, and it allows me to see their real shapes and growth structures, and see their health/sex etc.

They just had a .9ec feed of Soil A+B

Am struggling bro, to be honest.
I can see the white hair on a couple of them. so far, think ive spotted only 3-4 females.
but most of them, i cant see anything at all. lol
Ive used a lil microscope thing, and some of them have nothing from what i can see.

Ill try anything man, i think ive only got about 10cm space in whole tent, and thats got a standing fan in it.

thats what i do sticky i use a jewellery loop and i look at the nodes too see if any of em have tiny white hairs coming out of em i think males usually show first and in my experience males are taller...but am just a noob so somebody with more grows can help out but them plants are looking great sticky thats never a 1m2 tent m8 is it ?

I wish that last pic was 1m tent, id be living the dream then ;-)
Cant bear to feed em inside tent when they already living the hard life all crammed together. The deserve a lil break now and again me thinks, lol

I can see mine with the naked eye too. Some of them took longer to show than others. Every day when I look at them the buds are more obvious, very exciting! Sounds like you're in for a big pile weed, hope you have enough lighters.

I agree guys....the hairs are the saving grace.

I also heard that males show earlier, but have found that
females are easier to spot.

Someone pointed one interesting aspect of the male parts that I have
seen since, and that is that the male blob can appear to be attached to
the stem by a small stem of sorts.

Congrats on the good luck getting females!

I played it a bit loose, and got two regular seeds of several breeds (Deadhead, Qrazy Train,
and Chem 40G) and got the one female, at least, of each. I will be taking clones and will
easily have all that I will need. (I have not decided on the number of plants for the next
crop, as the current is my first SOG and I want to see how it does)

Think its coming in handy, as a few of them look like they have a little extra stem thingy.im sure the next few days will help reveal even more.
