"GET THE FUCK ON THE GROUND AND PUT YOUR HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM" that's all I heard as I opened the door the night of February 3 2011 as narcotics agents swarmed in tearing the place to pieces, you woulda thought I was wanted for murder or something. When it was all said and done they charged me with 39 pounds I was in disbelief. I had 2 - 1000's and a 600 in the main room which isn't near enough light to come close to 39 pounds. After 5 hours of them taking everything I owned and destroying my house the magistrate set my bail at 100 thousand, I was sick to my stomach needless to say. Finally when I met with my lawyer I was able to let her know that the weight of 39 pounds was impossible unless they weighed things they shouldn't have. My lawyer had everything sent to the lab where it was de-stemmed and re weighed, 8 months later the results came back 6.7 pounds so I thought I had a winner, WRONG.
Anything over 10 pounds is trafficking and the state I was in counts the water as weight so the D.A. Stated the weed had lost the water and it was well over 10 pounds when it was wet.
Considering they weighed roots, stems, and hydroton I possibly could've beat the trafficking charge at a trial since they couldn't prove how much water had evaporated however they hit me with enough other related growing charges that even if I would have beat the trafficking charge I was likely to do more time on the other charges so after a year of fighting I signed a plea for 25-30 months which was a mandatory minimum for trafficking.
This all stemmed from my landlord calling the cops saying I was possibly growing weed as I had not let him in the house for 3 years. Maybe I shoulda let him in.
Anyhow I just got out this morning and am glad to see this place is up and running. Hello to everyone I hope you all are doing well.
Glad to be back.

Nope....it was enough for them to start surveillance and after a month they weren't seeing anything abnormal so they got my power bill and it showed my bill was 3 times higher than neighbors around the area in the same size house so the judge signed the warrant.

Welcome back. I'm really sorry you had to go through that and I'm happy as hell you're free again. Here's hoping you meet nothing but blue skies and good vibes from here on out, because you've earned that for sure.

welcome back, must be great to be home.

Thanks S4L and yes it's absolutely wonderful...

No he never asked to come in he would just stop by randomly once in a while and I would always step outside and talk to him about whatever he was stopping by for. I could tell sometimes he wanted to come in but he never asked, it kinda makes me think he came in when I wasn't there at some point...

Got to be more to it than that; considering he never asked to come in, so how could he say you wouldn't let him in?
Did he have spare keys? Maybe he let himself in when you were out, or maybe he came around and looked through the window and saw something or smelt something.
I get the impression that you were running big numbers.
Sounds like he might have done something illegal to spot the plants, and is just using the excuse that you wouldn't let him in the house to cover up his illegal entry or whatever.

Maybe I didn't write that correctly, he didn't say I didn't let him in-that's just my assumption he just called and stated he thought I was growing weed in his house. I changed all the locks and don't wanna think he got in but it's a possibility. He definitely didn't see or smell anything from the outside i had it beyond concealed and smelly proof. The detective stated he couldn't see or smell anything from the windows or doors and almost stopped surveillance until they got my power bill.

Damn dude.

I'm sorry as shit you had to suffer for never hurting anyone.

The only way to win this declared war is to fight back.

Let me know if you have any issues getting back on the horse should you choose to get back to plowing.

Do you know if they got a warrant to get your power bill, or if the electric company just handed it over? Or did they find a recent one in your trash?
I'm racking my brains to think what could have given him the idea you were growing, do you look like a real stoner or something? Not working but living beyond your means, like a big speedboat parked outside your house?
