your plants have gas? I have one single plant of this no-name strain 'M2', when I go into that particular room it's all I can smell, fucking incredible!

Yeah - you'll notice the smells and tastes more pronounced with the regular enzyme teas

EDIT: I just checked my ebay account and the lady who sent my replacement worms told me she gave me an extra 1000 worms for the inconvenience, so make that about 7k redwiggles lol I just chucked the bucket what she sent in my worm bin and there is serously shit loads now

when measuring you "cups" do you just use a cup you would use for a tea or coffee? Thats what ive been using wasnt sure if you use a special measuring cup or not

I believe one cup of the rock dust is about 3/4 lb thus the bag would have 66.66 cups.

I'll be double checking this later today, I'll let you know my numbers. I'll weigh 10 cups so I get an average.

Durdy thanks, I think I need two bags then, maybe three, for now

Yea W89, I'm talkin a good old fashioned measured Cup I.e. 8oz / 16Tbsp ;)

When I'm watering though a cup is often a red beer cup :D. That is until I got my handy Chapin sprayer, now a cup is 15 quick seconds counted in my head lol

I jut measured how many table spoons to the cup I used for measuring and it was 16 table spoons that was rock dust, so that worked out well lol

So, I've got a question for any of you interested in responding (and I thank you in advance). I've been using aero pots, smart pots, air pots, etc. over the past few years and like them generally speaking. I want to start working with larger containers so that I can implement the no till or lightly amended approach to my Dante's lettuce grows. I was in Home Depot or Lowe's (can't remember) looking at all of these huge rubber-made type containers and thinking this is what I need. Something around 25-30 gallons. Rectangle to fit my tent. Able to hold two 12-20 week trees to maturity. I would fit like 3 of them in the tent. One cube for early finishers, one for the medium variety and one for the insanely long (why are you running these indoors) types.

Anyway, I get up close to these containers and they are off gassing a fierce sort of odor. I'm sure none of them are BPA free. So I'm thinking, I don't want my lovely living soil being gassed to death...what else you got?

So, that's my long winded question. What would you do?

I like the look of that SSOG, does the fabric hold a good amount of soil without stretching or ripping?

I was surprised just how well it holds up.

Considering i ripped 2 holes in the side to insert some polypipe with holes drilled in it as extra air 'vent' and tried a rope next to the pipe as a wick (failed due to the soil being too dry already)

Even outdoors stretched around bamboo canes in a wet spot, covered in moss and open to the elements i can get 3 years + out if it. Yep its strong.

It doesn't stretch and it definately wont rip unless you get a sharp implement to do it. :D

Indoors i am guessing 10 years+ no probs

That looks exactly like my modscrogs. I am planning to make the bottoms into wooden raised beds lined with pond liner.

I made them out of recycled pallet wood, and I modeled them after VerdantGreen's

Good job guys! If I didn't know better I'd say you guys know how to grow herb. I love the homemade stuff. I like the wheels on that plant frame SSOG. Getting the benefits of a scrog and the flexibility of a perpetual harvest is really cool Shmalphy.....scrappy
