starting from the beginning, and hopefully giving enough info, i recently purchased a couple clones from a friend. I was planning on growing my blue widow seeds but the clones were available that day, so i took them. When delivering the clones, he also brought one of his mother plants, and since i just finished my autos and my flower room was empty, i snagged it as well. The mother was a lemon skunk, a sativa dominant plant

Upon getting them i saw the mother was root bound and transplanted immediately, and nuted with fox farm nutrients. Then, with no room in my veg room, i threw it under my 400watt hps in a 12/12 cycle. within a day the leaves began to droop and slowly curl under like a claw. i thought maybe the hps was too low so i moved it from 12'' to about 18-22''. it may be my imagination but it seems like the lower leaves have gotten better, but the top leaves are still curled. The temp is between 72-75 degrees and the humidity is between 35-40. its in a closet, with the door open. it has a box fan, on the floor, blowing cold air into the closet and a clip fan, about 4' up, blowing directly on the bulb to lower temps/blow hot air out of the closet.

Now i've heard the curling of the leaves is actually common in sativa's. But i also know this is a sign of nitrogen def. so my question is what should i do? i dont want to be that person who freaks out and starts doing everything to the plant and end up making things worse. id rather ask opinions before i take any action and potentially further harm the plant. I know this thing may just possibly be in shock from transplant and the change of light spectrum and intensity. im also thinking i may have jumped the gun on the nutes, but i thought having them might help sustain it during its transition, but this may have in fact helped with the curling... so all in all... what do some of u think? should i just ride it out the next week, feeding straight water and see what happens? a response would be super appreciated, and i can supply pics if needed.. im just not going to waste my time doing so if nobody ends up responding. thank you!!

Try diluting your mix at first.

If this causes further deficiencies and/or clawing persists try widening your NH4 to N03 ratio.

What is your ppm break down?
