really dissapointed in my last run of GSC...yield was worse than any other run. granted i was out of country for 2+ weeks and the temps were cold..but buds just did not swell at all. they were in 100% soil mix fed basic lucas with a few additives.....gotta do some dialing to figure this out. they stacked pretty nicely just didnt fill out horizontally like ive seen them before. i swear i got bigger nugs off my 600 watt lights than 1000 watts....anybody experianced this?

Someone above said she does better with lower temps, and seems to be light sensitive, which may explain better yields on the 600.

yea after looking around definately appears to be so....the GSC plants that i trained down into the net and didnt stretch as much are around 15-20% bigger and have better stacking. the colas that i didnt reach and sprang up a good 1-2 feet all yielded the worst...

gonna keep GSC exclusively under 600s for the majority of flower now..i also noticed that the largest colas were mostly on the edges of the tray or the lower ones.

i had a tray of OG running right next to it under same grow conditions and grew a bit differently, the largest colas are right under the light and 2 feet away from bulb approx. but same thing also happened....i got bigger top colas last run under 600s!!!!

makes me think i should be running @ 600 instead of 1k now....or if i run 1k make the footprint 5x5 and raise them a bit more, the constraints of my room mean the plants are only in 4x4 and usually grow up to 16-24inches from the light so pretty close..

all my plants are in 4x4's with 1 600w above em....3g smart pots are gettin 2oz with little veg time or training.....ive been vegging my 3rd run with it now for 2 months and hoping i can hit 4oz on each one easily, gunna throw those into flower next week. how long do you veg prop?

i have OVS (over veg syndrome) i usually veg 1.5-2months since i have the luxury of a spare veg room and i dont grow indoors for a living so not too concerned with margins.....while one room flowers the other is vegging the next round. usually do 2-3 gal pots, GSC i do 16 plants per tray and OGs my best numbers were with 12..otherwise if i had to cash crop i would do what jack does 2 week veg and higher plant counts..

Misc - Great pics on all your cuts but the last two cuts look like S1's or almost like a Bubba cross, but very distuingishable from the forum. Can you tell any differences in these cuts from the forum in finished taste, smell?

I am on a list to get a cut in less than two weeks so I will be subscribed to this. Thanks.

Those observations are gold!
I run exclusively 600s, since I feel I can utilize my space best, with my vertical scrog.
I am excited to try the Forum cut strapped to my screens. Since she stretches so much, I should be able to fill a screen with a 6" thick canopy. The canopy will be 12-16 inches from the stacked 600s.
Should have a dozen extras to play with, and will give it a go.

Havent smoked that scm cut yet but true never thought of bubba! The consensus is fookie so far...no smell unless I touch a bud...has some cookie smell but yeah didnt toss it because I think a lot of people ended up with this after scm changed up their cuts from the forum so just seeing how itll smoke then wont see anymore of that cut probably

60-70 anywhere between that is fine. I like to let her go longer for more color and more kick

That scm looks alot like the gdp cookies before they had the forum. The one I grew out [from p2p] smelled like sugar cookies and the taste was very similar. No chocolate or mint.

i would definately keep the thouies goin man, 5x5 footprint 2ftish between glass and canopy. 1 fan for each light ocilating in the gap between canopy and lights(not really blowing on the plants so much, more just to clear any ambient heat put off under bulbs). I've gotten tops on the forum cut that were over 4g, with an average of around an eighth. also Lucas formula is kinda hot isnt it? I've never ran Lucas, and have only used soil a couple times, so i really don't have a clue, but i know its hotter than the rezipe which i think is a bit too hot myself in coco. bet the trip was worth a little less yield though.

6/9 with 3-4 ml of Cal Mag ends up at 1.2 EC and PH of 5.8 with my RO. Your mileage may vary, but that is my sweet spot and not too hot IMO...

like i said, too hot for my personal taste, i feed much lighter than most...the koolbloom was the worst part of the rezipe imho but gh is a thing of the past for me anyway very ordinary end product, it was a very easy switch to make. rezipe works great for all my boys that i help just to get started, most of them still use it and get nice yields and good product, i just seem to prefer my own the majority of the time.

canna w/ h&g additives ftw.
