Not mixing 800 gallons of soil every cycle is exactly what I'm talking about. Seems so crazy to me and I've done it for years now. if you and your misses are into veggies you're going to have a primo garden with that kind of dirt being used. Some people are going to be jealous of Mnt Pure when harvest comes! And before you drop 6 large on a mixer man run a couple pots recycled, I'd kick myself and I've done it before where I buy thousands of dollars worth of equipment only to put it on a shelf and let it collect dust as I found a more efficient way to do things.
The economizer would still let you use co2 as I'm assuming your return for the unit is not in the flower room, otherwise you'd be losing co2 regardless. It's just a duct that goes from outside to inside and has a damper on both ends so it is sealed when not in use and cnnects to your supply ducting. Ask your tech about it, maybe not for this one but always good to have tricks in the back pocket.
I like co2 and if I was in a permanent spot like you are and had the option of completely building from ground up I'd def be running it. At the same time I've hit two a light without co2 and since then I don't value it as much as I used to. If your garden and environment are dialed, it is the icing on top and helps push you over the edge but too many growers out there think it is a magic elixir. Not calling you one of them but hopefully you know what I'm saying.
Ranting this morning a little bit, apologies. Glad to hear you're not going to let the ac defeat you, sounds like you got a proper team on it and that always helps when it comes to troubleshooting. As far as the shit eating goes, hope it's a snack vs a five course meal.
