Nigerian x BMR.....my version of the 'Stoney girl' 50 day sativa. (55-ish days would be the correct finish, but it passes at 50 w/zero complaints.

VR x NLH could hold some long finisher's...but probably more a rewarding result when said and done than say the mess a pure Haze run could have in store. Decent yield, pure sativa high bordering on a speedy/acid cerebral cleanse.

That's definitely VR dominant or whatever the correct term is. You'll like that one for sure and the colors at the end of the flowering cycle is nothing that you've seen before probably.

Reds, blues, yellows, purples, golds, rust, blah, blah, so that when you dry and cure your harvest, you will have these strings of color that wrap in and around the outside. Kinda like the old paper money with the blue & red threads.

Definitely has the ol' bag appeal thingie going on

It's definitely better than her kin which were promoted and then sent to finishing school to eventually be exploited & ruined in the pursuit of capital gains and a self-promoted mythology gone amok.

IMHO of course

Amen~ There are some good Blueberries out there.....but I'm done looking for them. I've played with the Blue line long enough and found some cool stuff...but I have to say I grew bored w/it and want more racy/trippy/cerebral sativa's in my life.

Enter landraces and landrace crosses/hyrbids for transcension into the next realm of cannabis connoisseur.

My plan to step-up my game is being finalized. I've decided to go with 10 seeds from Breeder Jennifer - Sugar Plum
Sugar Plum
  • 1st Place, 2003 Oregon Medical Cannabis Award Winner
  • As Featured in Ed Rosenthal’s Marijuana growers Handbook
Sugar Plum is a cross between Berkeley Blues and a Hawaiian Haze Plum. The Haze Plum came from Dead Guy (my best friends’ sisters husband). It is a deep tropical purple flavor with a very strong stone and a tall narrow silhouette that is almost spindly with long spiraling buds.

Sugar Plum is a medium size bush with very deep green, large leaves. The flavor is complex the deep tropical flavor of the Haze Plum comes through first with the earthy Berkeley Blues bottom note clearly coming through the finish. Always throws several large, dense colas. Stores well and finishes fast.
10 seeds for $400.00 - anything with a medium size bush has to be good, right?

6 rooted cuttings (3 different strains from her breeding program) for $550.00

So that's less than $1,000 and I'll be growing some of Oregon's finest according to Ed - what better endorsement is there?

Touching times in River City......

Nice! Combine that with the cerebral punch from NLH and I know what I'm lookin for, and under 8 weeks of course ;)

Sugar Plum et al. has anyone ever seen her strains in person, smoked em? With all these claims you'd think these plants would be all over ICmag!

10 beans for $400.00....count me in when I get hit by a Mack truck and can no longer think for myself, but rather a 'care giver' could fleece my wallet and set me up with a deal like this.....since I would no longer be able to discern that it's a shameless rip-off.

What I find odd is that none of these plants in this room here are 'popular' types. The majority of the room holds my own cross of Nigerian landrace x BMR,and Durban Poison x BMR,followed by a few plants of Blue Orca x NLH,The One,Blue Orca,Mazar-I-Shariff,and TO x BMR....

I don't understand why I don't want,or have the desire to acquire the latest Blue Sour Scout Turbo OG Kush....or that Purple pre-Bubba Wanna-Kush cut....why?

If a person wanted to hone their IPM skills her strains would give them a target-rich environment unparalleled in the cannabis seed business.

Quite an achievement given the competition she faced...

Another thought worth pondering is why I don't feel I need any sort of meter here in this garden,or why it does so well not using blood meal, mammalian bone meal, greensand,or soft rock phosphate...could that photo be any clue?

Why am I not concerned about ph or brix...or what 'imprint' my rain water may need before dancing beneath the summer moon naked swirling to the left. Or if my plants got any Pink Floyd in today or not...

Questions questions questions...flooding into the mind of the concerned young person today.

TGA's Pandoras Box is the raciest, speediest, trippy strain I've ever grown or smoked. But, 4/4 spewed male flowers in mid/late bloom, and the yield was very low. My fault I imagine... I could have done much better that round...

the Floyd part was a joke though right? i hope they got their daily Floyd! it's basically all that i'm concerned with these days... i even bought a Floyd meter to test the Floydness of my dank. it's Floyd approved! Brix level is Pink! my rain water dances only beneath The Dark Side of the Moon....
