Ghana weed is also quite stimulating, but it's a rather smoother one. Long lasting, happy & positive with non-edgy stimulation, real nice.

Green Crack is said to be very uplifting & stimulating.

It's subjective, and depending on many factors, but I'd say, as soon as the first non-damaged trichomes start to turn from crystal-clear.

Whatever you pick, harvest the plant when 1/4 of the hairs turn brown.
Even a lot of hybrids or indica leaning plants can be trippy and hallucinogenic when picked at this time.

i know exactly the kind of thing the OP is talking about. i used to be a bit of a 'raver' and really like weed that gives a similar type of effect.

most sativas have an energetic high but are also trippy which takes the edge off the speedy high i really enjoy for parties and social occasions.

the very best i have come across for this effect is Power Plant - which is supposedly a durban poison worked line (i see durban has been mentioned above). You get that speedy, bubbly giggly feeling without the confusing trippy high.

PP is also a good yielder and fast for a sativa. i lost my cut a while back and would really love to get a good, speedy PP cut back again. may have to crack some seeds...

the other strain that i have head mentioned as similar is C99, but not tried that for real yet.

haze is quite good for a head high but more 'hey wow' than speedy imo
congo is soaring but again more trippy too

not much love for PP out there these days, but exactly fits the bill for that particular requirement

Cali most from M.O.D. had a red pheno that was scary.My buddy got attacked by his phyco girlfriend while they were smoking this.She was batshit crazy anyway but this weed was off the charts up...
High anxiaty,trippy as possible,No sleeping crazy weed that tastes like artificial cherries.
I gave it all away.

Don't know if your in the uk but we have the old pp cut that's describes as yours .. Stinky too! Itis very speedy/euphoric for 30mins then mellows to a strong body.

Awesome fast squat sativa that gives great yields in 9week.

interesting! . yeah ive found the PP has a stoney come-down after an hour or two, but if you stay on it and dont smoke too much it really keeps you going... it has this one quality - i find there is still a mental 'sharpness' and you can still come out with funny quips and one-liners even though you are quite high. (or at least me and the missus find them funny)
really ive been in a room full of peeps all on the marching powder.. the wife and i are on PP and we are the most lively and talkative.

NL5 x Durban

I call this stuff rollercoaster weed. You get that going up feeling like climbing the first hill on a rollercoaster and the rest is hold the fuck on for the ride.

Most african strains are dirty. Durban is speedy but its really paranoid inducing. If you want clean, clear, soaring highs the best place to look is in Thai and southeast Asian genetics. South American in specific, Columbian and Brazilian, is a good place to look as well.

The most "speedy weed" I smoked recently is Acapulco Gold... an incredible pheno find by a member from here, but not preserved... I currently grow some beans from the same batch to made a repro...

I really hope to find the same pheno...

I always wanted to try Power Plant. I like everything about it. It was supposed to be the best commercial weed available in Europe, for years I think? Not sure how many people grow it in the U.S.?

yeah i think PP was pretty revolutionary as a sativa that was so quick and high yielding. i was told that at one point it was being sold as quite a few different strains in the dutch coffee shops - they just used to ripen it to different point and call it different things.
perhaps there are stronger and better tasting/smelling weeds out there today, but PP is pretty unique in some ways (imo)
