New grow area, starting from scratch, 2x600w!

almost a year since i startet this thread..

And it still is not 100% done yet!! :S

I have some SSSDH in flower though:

Day 35 of flowering, hope they dont stretch anymore..

They were startet as small cuttings, but I just cant handle the stretch.. And its not because of the heat..

Here are my soil mothers:

They will be kept alive so i always have some extras, in case the DWC mothers will die or something..

DWC mothers will be in this area:

Currently it has some clones that are rooting and some cuts in dwc, to keep them alive until I make their final place..

Not much to see yet.

Finally, i hope things are starting to look a little better..! I have not made any updates because I don't want to update when there is only bad things to tell..



I have a strain that is supposed to be AK48 in flower at the moment, going on 20 days:

also, as a tryout, critical kush, 2 plants:

They have stretched far less than the ak's, so they are not getting as much light..



Also, have a bunch of mothers, some in DWC, some in soil.:

And I tried different ways of making cuttings, but because I am at the growsite 1-2 times a week, nothing has really worked good enough for me. Then I tried aeroponics, the xstream. I use one with 20 holes and one with 36.

Newly rootes cuts:

Alien kush in 20 cuts rooter. They were a little hard to get to roots, so some leaves turned yellow:

Ak48 day 24 of flower, they have stretched like hell. Maybe I gave them to much grow nutes.. haha

And the critical kush does not stretch as much. But i think it will have bigger/more dense yeild:

Yesterday, we changes a lot. Many new plans, since the 3rd guy came in the game with us. That means we tore down the one wall, that separated the flower/veggetative room, so that we now have one big flower room. The 3rd room we remade into a growing/cloning room.

We took some clones, then put the old mothers into flower. Not the best option, but it was kinda needed..

And last, the cuttings in flower:

The 3 left tubes are Alien kush, the next 2 are Black Domina. The last tube has 3 Tahoe Og kush, 2 Black domina and 1 alien kush in it.

I just hope the stretch are somewhat equal..

They are coming along nicely, but unfortunately they suffer alot from powdery mildew.. Anyone have any good idea on how to get rid of it???

Removed alot of the undergrowth, to make better airflow by the plants:

Yo dragon..im real interested in pix and growth characteristics of the Alien..do you have some individual shots of those? How was the stretch..are they very slow growers etc?
Also..how do you like the Xstream? Im thinking about buying one as my cloning skills really suck.

I like the x-tream. It makes good roots I think. Pretty fast. And it is maintenance free.

I am just starting flower on the alien kush. But up until now it seems to have ok stretch. cant say for sure how much though..

AAK48, day 56'ish.



They have stretched alot. Too much for what I like. So much it seems not all buds have gotten any real light.. That sucks..

on some of the buds there is alot of crystals, though. And some seems to make some decent buds..

On thursday i will check the crystals to see how far along it is..

Eagle 20 ends it for good. Hepa filtered inlet air, good room cleaning practices and humidity controls keep it away.

Hey there Dragon, man you have a lot going on in your space…. There are a few things that you need to address to get your systems booming.
1. You need a bigger hood/reflector. One of the reasons you are getting stretch is the plants on the outer edges are growing to gather more light. Also you light should be just far enough away from the tops of the plants so they won’t burn. You can even control sativa stretch to a degree this way.
2. You have a lot of strains in your system. It’s going to be near impossible for you to determine what the nutrient up take is for a particular strain. I understand the desire for multiple strains and you have two systems so why not monocrop each system and get to know the strain. Understanding the strain and what they need/want will go far in producing happy plants. Some plants will cause a ph swing faster than others. By spending time with plants you will be able to know them inside and out.
3. If you can figure a way to get a fan under your grow you will all but destroy the rh (relative humidity) within the canopy of your plants thus killing your pm (powdery mildew) problem.
I have been running tubes for a while now and I have done everything you are doing and these are just some of the things I have learned by talking to and reading DHF, Megayeilds, bobblehead, and aerokrafters threads…
