All 4 Red Kali Mist are now in flower. I've decided not to pollinate the #3 selection...partially out of laziness..and not wanting to haul her ass out..but more to the point...is...that I've such a fondness for the #1 selection...that I don't see a need to pollinate any other

So...I screwed in a piece of old fencing..onto the wall...and have started tying a couple plants to grow along its structure. I've also started defoliating..and will continue to do so..a little at a time..until I'm satisfied with light coverage



Not much to see now...their flowers are but...little puffs of growth. Trying to go easy on nutrients...as with these changing weather conditions..it's a challenge to keep the studios from fluxing too far one way..or the other. A balancing act...especially with new genetics

I have made an observation...one that might be helpful when growing RKM. They seem to prefer their environment on the hot side....dark period and lights on period. They react more quickly to temp swings..and are easy read...when in the sweet spot. Over 80 (85 is not bad) degrees during lights on..especially for the couple hrs after feeding.

My #1...only a few days in flower...still remains untrained...has not had her top bent and tied. I don't know if I'll be able to pull it off..without bending her top...but I'd love to give you a good look at an unmolested plant. I mean though...once she's been pollinated...I will have to tie her frame into a trellis. I'd like to..possibly..train her up and over some of the shorter Prune Juice....

So..I have 2 trained into the trellis I showed yesterday. They are fine like that...out of the way..supported..getting hit with 1000 hps...and 600 hps...around 3' away.

I still have their sister (I put 3 in at the same time)...who is growing now...with her bent top untied (permanently trained)...but totally unsupported. Nothing...no stakes...no trellis...she stands all on her own. I'll continue her on like this...until I see a need to lend aid. She is similar to the trellised sisters...yet different.

I could actually...move her without a crazy amount of effort (unlike the trellised sisters...those are a 'no way'...the effort would be much..which is part of the reason I decided..not to pollinate the #3 selection..and go ahead and trellis her off).....anyway...there are differences in the population

Be interesting to see how their flower structures come out....it's too early for me to have an idea...can't picture them yet

Another day of low temps...crusty ice snow..layered in inches..makes getting around a crunchy slippery task

The 1st batch of RKM are at day 25...here's what their flowers look like.

Here..at day 17..are the #1 selection Prune Juice IX1 (left) and her more vigorous sister. I'll probably be pollinating both of these expressions...as they are both very nice..and will give some diversity to the next generation



* I'm starting to 2nd guess my decision not to top these plants...or at least the expressions that the #1 is representing. The yield on the #1 expression may be hindered because I didn't top...but on the other hand...if I had topped..she may not have been compatible to the light heights..and would probably have had to have had her pot elevated off the floor.

It's a dance of flight...keeping a room flowering with different structures...different expressions..makes it difficult to keep everything in the best situation. 12/12 light schedules work well for some genetics..less so on others...some genetics prefer warmer temps..some do better in cooler temps..etc etc...doing the best I can to accommodate the different flowers

depends on so many things..generally though...it's the amount of effort a grower wants to put in

Hard day to get up for. Didn't feel like getting out of bed....even to put logs on the fire..or get some work done..or anything. The cold stays all day..mid 30's...in an inversion of heavy clouds..the snow stays..the ice stays

Drove to the post office..expecting a package. My old vaporizer crapped out last Saturday...took it apart but couldn't figure out the problem. Ended up ordering an Arizer Solo portable vaporizer..after reading reviews..getting the low down..and liked the price...good deal

Charged up the battery...had a vape session..then went out..to be..hit with snow/ice/rain...on mush slippery trails..plodding or sliding up and down hills

Running in these vapor clouds...soaked to the gills..numb and heavy



Inversion deepened..pushing everything down...before tomorrow comes..and clears out the sky

well shit,that means that weather is in my future...today was a crappy day on the bike...cold and windy,i had no legs at all,two days of time trailing against the wind wore me down,the saddle just felt like a rock hard torture device rather then a fulcrum for power...but i also ran out of coffee....

Nice to see LG sharing the line...
The original mother is lost ,
so keep looking for the sativa expressions.
I do think that deformed look is a deep chunk influence.
I took the line as far as bx2 but currently only have one cannabis plant in my posession,
a beloved little mother of the deep congo bx1.
maybe this summer ill let her shine in the outdoors.

Dropped a dozen Prune Juice seeds yesterday. Highend F2s(putrid green pheno),PTK seeds from the best example I've found and some Dcong X's too. It's gonna be fun!!

Man I don't do the cold. I'm solar based..need my heat and sun.

I'll be pollinating some Prune Juice in a few days...make the 3rd generation. Some funky stuff...good luck with them bro

Props on Deep Congo...I've been wanting to work with it for a long time Rich. Circumstances have kept us apart...so yeah...I'm way stoked to finally be in the game.

My first winter here was miserable! I was miserable! Kinda getting used to it... love -hate type thing. It is amazing what a little sun can do for the psyche!
Worked in a snow storm today and had a bitch of a time getting home. No plows way out in the sticks around the site, so it adds to the thrill of commuting

Yeah dude...the Arizer Solo. Thing is built awesome, easy to use, fairly small and portable. Charge on the battery lasts a long time. I set the temp on the 3rd or 4th setting...heats up in a couple minutes..works outstanding. It cost around $160 to the door...but it may be possible to get it cheaper. I have nothing but praise for the technology...well worth my money. The YouTube videos and recommendations from other IC members set me straight

So yup..I'm a Vape Head now. The highs are different...but in all honesty...the highs are also better imo. The transitions in the highs come in a steady wave...more like a creeper high...but you can feel the wash come over you. Highs are more a climb...from one plateau to another. Cleaner...less the fog.

Flavors too..man when you hit it just perfect...the flavor is hard to beat. I've found all kinds of flavor in vape...makes it easier for me to detect the subtle undertones..get a more exact lock on what they are saying.

Anyways...as you can tell..I'm not missing all those joints I was smoking...and as far as the running goes...there is no comparison...vaporizing beats flame combustion...in every way. The flavor coating stays with me for a couple miles...I swear...I can feel it working on me. It's like lung medication...breathing is clean..and the deep breathing really kicks the vapor off

....these here DTC99 F4 flowers. Cured for over a yr..yeah over a year. This stuff is very old skool sativa to me...kind of reminds one of 80's Thai import? It's very light..but dense in some cases...stringy..hay..would be the description

The point is though: been vaporizing some of this stuff...little bit ago..on break. Flavor is instant old skool..totally an undertone citrus..with a spice rack over the top.

The high is light and mild...not potent in the one hit sense. Couple bowls vaporized gives out a working man type level high. And that's good..because labor I have lined up for the rest of the day



Crazy stuff...doesn't look like anything really disappears. It's still my belief that you can...look down genetic holes all day long..and they are still flush with bounty....why I'll never cry about yesterday

Gosh. With the current line up...I'm deep in Blue line expressions..or so I think..know..whatever

All the Prune Juice IX1 share the undertone of Blueberry...not the fruit...but the line. If you have grown Blue lines...particularly on the Berry line side (as opposed to the Floral line)...you'll know that musky undertone aroma..that Blueberry exhibits. It comes out...in flower...in the 3rd week..just when the buds are taking a base form

..and here is a beautiful Mox Krox female (Mox Mox X Grape Krush...the same GK dads I used in everything)



recently transplanted into the 5gal smart pot...she is...so obviously..driven by Blueberry..

1 part Original Flo, 2 parts Chem DD, 1 part Grape Krush

2 parts Blue (floral and berry) 2 Parts Chem DD

* I put the Mox Krox male into flower. I'm thinking I might make another generation of Mox Krox. As I've said..3 females 1 male...is all there has ever been of this cross. I could let it go off and away..or I can perpetuate. Grower's Choice

I don't really remember the Grape Krush female I had...not that memorable...a mutant though. Her smoke didn't stand out

The 2 males I had..a mutant and a non mutant...that's where I got my moneys worth. They outcrossed a lot better than I had ever imagined. Sometimes it's like you are growing a straight Blueberry...and other times it reflective of the mothers used in the outcrosses..only now..they are blued to some degree.

Yeah dude...thanks for the good tip on the Arizer...fits my needs to a tailor made. Very happy
