So the Discovery Channel is going to have two new Cannabis based shows.

The first link is a vid of a raid from one of the new shows called "pot cops"
Pretty funny to hear what the guy who got raided had to say about the police.

Wednesdays bring a double dose of marijuana programming from Discovery Channel beginning this week. First, "Pot Cops," about the officers chasing down the weed, followed by "Weed Country," about the growers.
"Weed Country," a six-part series, documents the ongoing battle between cops, dealers and the growers looking to engineer some of the most powerful marijuana on Earth. This particular "Weed Country" is California, but other precincts with similar standoffs will want to take note.

"It takes a certain kind of person to be a cop, just like it takes a certain kind of person to be a child molester"

Guy looked like he had a nice grow going too.
250 plants.

Good or bad, I like weed shows, so I'll be watching.

I watched some of Weed Country last night, discovered it channel surfing. It's very difficult to watch and listen to the police, very difficult. But, like they say--know thy enemy. Same with that show Alpha Dogs. I enjoy learning about the training of the animals, learning about the animals, but watching stuff like the drug interdiction where all they get is weed is extremely difficult for me. I always think, "His poor mother! Poor guy! Just for weed."

Yes was it not interesting?

Believe the Jackson county sheriff shown in this piece was the same cop that tried to deny a medical grower their conceiled hand gun permit; seems the supreme court had a different view.

Maybe with Washington and Colorado going legal the Fed's will get this Medicine reclassified soon taking the focus off Pot and putting that energy into Gang Banger, Meth problems in-place of taking the easy route and ripping up peacefully growing medical grows...

Paying for those choppers, special Jackson county marijuana swat teams and the like, lots of $$$, all being spent on a drug/medicine that has never killed anyone and is proven to be of GREAT help to 1000's.

Wonder when the truth will filter into the thinking of people like this sheriff who actually believes this medicine has lead to the downfall of our country. Guess all them AIG CEO's/Bankers/Politicians must be pot smokers and that's why we are struggling so in this country... It's the pot's fault!!!

I'm not holding my breath waiting on the feds to change their stance right now. Especially after that ruling against the ASA's, et alia, suit to reschedule.

Sounds like there are bills being written/introduced to address this issue happening right now. Sure it will be a long path still but feel we are at least on the path...
Hopeful smarter heads will prevail... Soon???

Hey sea, I seen this last night. And for some strange reason I instantly thought of you when the guy came back home from LA and his dog was not outside and he thought something happened to his dog and wife. Just seemed similar to your story. Hope you guys are doing better

Also with MMJ cultivation the next big thing they are going to push is that MMJ farmers are using up all the water supply. It was already on the front page of the Humboldt paper last month. You should of seen the aerial photo they had of Humboldt & trinity locating all the grows and estimates of how much water each grow is taking from the Eel and so on.

Some very inspiring MMJ stories in the mix.

Busted dispensiary dude's golddigger girlfriend is looking for any excuse to leave him. Bitch ain't got his back for shit just nagnagnag trying to mess up his headgame ultimately to run him like a franchise, he needs to ditch that ho already.

that mike dude was transporting pounds with a busted windshield??

California doesn't have quite the same strictness of laws regarding vehicle condition as many other states. E.G. that windshield, I bet it's been like that for a LONG time, and if he's pulled over it probably wouldn't be for the windshield, but for something else like no turn signal, missing brake light, single headlight, that sort of stuff.
