STEALTH CAB + 120w eBay LED

In this cab im trying out a $170 120w LED panel from eBay, it is listed to have 112 x 1w Lights

STRAINS

1 x Grinspoon FEM. I know that my light and cab size are probably not suited for it. But i really really wanted to give it a shot anyways, its so interesting i had to try!
2 x White Widow REG. This is probably better suited for the cab. Im running two of them because they are REG and im hoping for one female.

THE PLAN

Planning to switch them all over to 12/12 in a few days now. Im doing this to try and keep their size down and small enough for the light to manage as well.

THE HOUSE

The cabinet that the grow will be in, its 100cm high, 100cm wide and 50cm deep

The LED panel that im using, it cost me $170 at the time and is supposed to be a 120w with 112x1w LED lights with alledgedly 620-630nm and 660nm of red, 450-460nm and 460-470nm of blue wavelength provide

How they look like on

The end cab being tested with my 1x130w CFL for a few days to heat test the system, after that ill put the LED in and tidy up all the wiring and have it safely tucked away

Cool stealth box that LED light will help a ton with the heat, I also like the fuzzing out you did on your picture I am nosey because people often take pictures without taking into account what else is in the picture hee hee!!! Good Job.

Peace

You remove the data from your pics right? phonjes with GPS like Iphones are known for embedding locations dates and times etc. If you havent take down your pics and scrub them there are alot of free apps that will do it, and I think the newest Photshop does it as well. Be safe, Praise Odin.

Peace

Seen these units all over eBay... Wish there were more reviews and writeups on them, but I'll be keeping an eye on this one!

itll be interesting to see how it turns out and if it was worth my investment. if i can get some semi decent buds then ill be very happy with it since this is meant to be a small personal grow for myself.

Anyways, while cleaning out the cab today i left my grinspoon and white widow outside on the grass in the sun and i guess my dog felt neglected so she attacked my white white.
She tore the sprout out from the pot, tore the rockwool in hald and bit a leaf off and left the other damaged..
Ive tried my best to salvage it but its wishful thinking to think that she will be able to put through from this

The pic was taken right after i planted her deep in the soil. ill leave her alone and check up on her tomorrow and see how its going.
Wish her luck everyone, she really needs a miracle to pull through! :(

cannabis is very hardy.

if the tap root is undamaged, i bet the white widow pulls through.

good luck :tiphat:

the root was slightly ripped up, but lucky most of it was still in the rockwool and i was able to replant it ok :)

Day 20 of the grinspoon, The leaves were dropping before but now they have perked up and showing a little bit more growth

And my White Widow is making a come back with some new growth in the centre leaves.

Haha yeah she is bouncing back fine! :)

Day 8 since seed pop White Widow

Ive moved the White Widow under the CFL just an hour ago and its on 24/7 lighting atm, but all its recovery so far these last few days has been under the LED panel.
So im stoked its doing well

Day 22 since pop Grinspoon

The Grinspoon is now in the cab under 12/12 LED light, i was thinking of adding in some suplimental lighting but ive decided against it as ive already spent enough on the grow for a while, plus I'm actually interested in seeing how this 'cheapish' eBay 120w LED panel goes for the rest of the grow on its own
The Grinspoon is starting to come out of her shell slowly which is nice, im guessing that 100 day flowering cycle she has really helps her take ages to grow out. Plus she is young a guess. But wont be long until the White Widow over takes her

Got some flairform Green Dream #1 veg nutrients today and applied around 1/4th of the recommended dose
Im hoping that itll help pick up the plants as they do look like they are missing out of some nitrogen!

greendream_group_250.jpg

Grinspoon at day 22, she is still under 24/7. Not sure if her slow growth is normal or not but she is still alive!

grinday25.jpg

White Widow Wendy at day 11 is bouncing back nicely, ill give her another week and then swap the two over to 12/12... I think, thats the plan at this stage anyways. But ill most likely end up changing my mind again as always!

cheapo LEDS can cause chlorosis/nute defficency. I found out the hard way. Although I was running a 300W cheapo LED. Just keep on the look out for yellowing, which you kinda might already seem to have?

Id hit them with the CFL's untill you have two/three sets of true leaves.

Im and still curious what my 300Watt can do thats why I surf these sites.

What I found out was that the intensity of PAR from some of these lights were causing Fe defficency in some grows. Never added Fe to see if I could correct it.

Good luch with the grow.

What about LEDs cause chlorosis? I've added my first watering of nutes yesterday so I'm hoping that it will give the grinspoon it's much needed nitrogen

And what is this Fe?

Day 30 of the grinspoon. Did its first feed of the nutes on sunday 24-02-13 and its second feeding this friday morning 01-03-13 all it about 1/4th the strength recommended. leaves look good but the older leaves are still yellow. i guess they will not loose the yellowing they had earlier on, altho a leaf tips burn is continueing to get worse. there is still growth on the plant so im not sure if i should continue the nute strenght, up it to half or do a full water only feeding next because of the one leaf tip burn it has!

grinday300.jpg

Day 19 of the white widow. slow progress once again, im thinking the LED panel isnt powerful enough to give it that oomfph it requires to grow fast. either way its still providing enough light to make progress. so ill try and resist the temptation to fix it by adding more lights/getting a new LED panel.
looks like she is liking the nutes so i think ill strenghten her nutes to 1/2 recommended dosage and go from there!
