BudDavis' 1st SCROG ever

Hi there, and welcome.

I hope I dont bore anyone with some thing so simple, but I want to keep track of this with dates and photos. Since it's my "first time", I thought a diary would be ok.

The grower
I had 6 grows in the last 2 years, always seeds in soil. I built my own cloner and am finally able to produce my own clones now and started a SOG with new plants every 4 weeks, which is ending soon. No big difference to growing with seeds IMHO, top of the plant is ready for harvest though the lower levels havent finished, so Im looking for something new to try. The next thing I want to try out is SCROG.

Equipment
I use 4x16w CFL's for vegging and a 250 HPS for flower in a HomeBox. The HomeBox is currently occupied with the SOG, but I had this mini cabinet and therefore built my own veggie box with the CFL's. I use BCUZZ Bio Grow Mix with Perlite and BioBizz vertilizers.

The Plant
I had this though plant, which had a couple of "accidents". I dropped a running fan on it 3 times (!!!), first time I cut off the top (and successfully cloned the top afterwards, its in the SOG right now). A couple of days later same thing happened again and cost a few leaves. Again some weeks later I dropped a fan on it and thought I killed the plant for sure, because the main stem broke just below the first set of branches. But this plant is a bitch, it came back and started growing again. It came from a seed, White Widow feminized from Nirvana and is growing since December now. Such a though plant should be ok with a noob trying a SCROG I guess.

Enough for now, here some photos to see what I am talking about.

Will try to report every 2 weeks or so, maybe more often during flower, though thats still a long way to go. Suggestions are welcome. I hope you enjoy the show!
