males for extraction ?

culling thru a few 3ft males.
the chem d is a stanky fella along with chemmyjones guys,
and wondering if they're suitable for any kind of hash
or extractions?
i wouldn't want to watse any butane if they can be used
but maybe a nice iso wash would be in order ...maybe?

What are you trying to extract?

Check them out with a microscope. If they have trichome heads showing, they have oil that can be harvested.

and yes, i see little white milky resin looking heads with a loupe.
just wondered if I'm tossing something that can be used

my chemy jones is about to bust pollen saks open and he is loaded with
milky white resin blobs all over the leaves.
can i just freeze it fresh, and use it in an ice water bubble bag hash thing?
hate to start setting up drying ops right now.

yes freezing fresh material is quite ok, in fact you end up with a very tasty product using
fresh frozen material. how much you will get from the males is another question, also i imagine the pollen will end up on the screens if you make bubble with males that have open flowers. with luck the pollen is smaller or larger then the trich heads and will mostly collect on 1 bag, while your trich heads collect on the 73, but i never tried males with ice water extraction so can't be certain what will happen to the pollen.
