Any Aussies Use A Grow Tent?

Went down to my nearest hydro shop just to check what tents he had in stock-totally overpriced but was to be expected. Gee the hydro shops hate the idea of vertical lol. Tried telling me id lose to much light... :D I wasnt gonna get into a debate about this so just said 'yer you're prolly rite' lol . Guess the sale of shades mite be dropping off :D

if i was to flower indoors i would go vert as well...i too have spent a heap of time in the vert section just to see the excellent results competent growers get...

use a cool tube to keep your temps down

ive been spending time reading the vert stuff as well,id definitely go this route if i was cranking up the big lights again....but in saying that im in the process of building a micro cab and am planing on vert cfls to try and fill the walls with bud and am hoping i can control a sativa in 2foot of height...lmao X)....will start a post up once i get it fired up...

Gday Russ, Yes mate, the more i read the more interested i am. Fell asleep last night in the vert forum lol. Bonsai sativa? lol :D Lookin forward to seeing that bro!

yes a bonzai sativa is what im planning IF i can control it in the limited space,i was thinking i could get 5 in there but then i realised im going to struggle to control 1 but i love a challenge and will see how i go...

ideally ...yes...but if the temps are too high then measures need to be taken to keep things under control such as air conditioning, high air exchange rates, cool tubes or vented hoods

sativas indoors are a challenge...many years ago i had one indoors that i scrogged to control. it worked very well but the long flowering length was the killer...14 weeks...but i did get 1.25 GPW of trimmed bud in the end...

totally agree ozzie,i was given a few seeds in the early 90s that were 100% sat,i had all these skunks flowering and this sativa just wouldnt finish,i had no choice but had to pull it out after 15weeks and i reckon it would have went 20+weeks,i promised myself never to do that again...but i want to micro grow 1 in 2 foot of height,im already seeing whats going to happen,walls covered in stretching sat and 20 weeks later i hope its done...ive never used cfls before and never a micro then i'm adding a sat...i see 2 results,extremely satisfied or pissed off to the max because i cant control,better pop some indicas incase..LOL

hot today thirsty, got 6'' passive ,8'' driven in air ,12'' fan blowing around, 6'' over pulling heat out , and doors wide open, still on28 c. 42h. pheeeeeew.

I would imagine you could put a %95 Sativa in there. No need to bonsai :woohoo:
But I haven't seen any listings anywhere in Aus for Gorilla grow tents,
has anybody ever imported any grow gear from America or the UK.
I want to get this tent but I dont know if customs would be an issue? :angrymod: :dunno:

Morning Ozzie. yep is pissin me off to no end! No breeze, just cold.wet rain. Had 2 nice girls both in week 7 of flower, outside yesterday during this so thought i'd better put them under the 600 for the day in fear of mould, n sure enough the afghani was just startin to mould up on the tip of the biggest bud. Got it early enough thankfully n only lost about a gram. The other strain, a sativa kush thankfully was sweet.

they look very good indeed...shipping costs could be a killer though...tents are quite heavy. doubt customs would be an issue as tents can be bought locally...but doesn't hurt to make sure. the thing about being able to go taller is that light can only penetrate so far...

good luck with that TK...mould is my main killer...i don't have any expectations of being able to get my plants through this time of year...i am waiting for april to put my first indoor vegged plant outdoors to flower....

got a couple of big bagseed sativas out atm that have just started flowering...but they will be smashed before they are anywhere near ready...

cool tall tent there aus2, probaly could tell you from where you buy tent if its allowed in, send em a message.
