Is it ok to do multiple bho runs 1 after the other in the same dish for bho?

Probably a dumb question but new to bho. If you have a small baster tube and a bunch of trim can you just keep empting and refilling the tube and just keep doing it in the same dish one after the other? Basically have the ss baster and more trim than it will hold in 1 run so can I just do 1 run with a can, let that evaporate , refill the tube with fresh trim run that with a new can of butane.. Etc. over and over a few times, then say after doing it maybe 5 times on top of each other each time using fresh trim and another can of butane purge the total? Or is it that you should only do 1 run scrape and purge that small yeild? I'd really prefer to be able to just do a bunch of runs because it's a small tube but I'm worried that "stacking" multiple runs in the same dish and purging the larger amount might screw something up like trapping butane in it or something. Someone please answer this. Don't want to use 5 runs worth of trim and butane just to have it end up like crap by not doing it one at a time from start to finish. Thanks

I have multiple Pyrexs..so I do diff runs

Whether its different strains or just a large amount or one kind , I prefer to do separate dishes.

I like the different consistencys I get

I have run several batches in the same pyrex with no adverse issues. I have heard that some people feel multpile runs in one container can be harder to get a complete purge. Not sure if this is true but like I said, I have never experienced andything like that.

I get your idea but my situation is all the same strain, a bunch of trim and a small tube so I'd like to just to a big run instead of having to work with 5 or so seperate 1 can 1 tube pyrex dishes. I'm looking to put 5 loads (and 5 is just a number I'm throwing out there, I'm not sure exactly how many runs id end up doing). Into 1 dish and then purge all of those runs together for 1 big yeild instead of a bunch of small yields

Hammerhead... Was that just 1 run from 1 loaded tube?.. Or did you refill the tube a few different times and purge the total ?

Did it purge the same as if you did one run? What was your purging method?

I've ran thru a half p , used a 12 pack case of vector and ran it into one dish.

It came out just as good as multiple trays but took way longer to purge, since I don't have a vaccum purger

& I do agree that having multiple trays is a pain in the ass.

Yes to your original question. Haha. ..

Cool... For vac purge can you just use a food saver and the mason jar attachment ?

Ive run hundreds of grams of oil and from multiple cases into 1 dish. The problem was simply getting it thin enough to purge thoroughly. That took several sheets of parchment to get it all vacd

Mighty vac makes a metal one now too. Does suction and pressure. Way larger than the plastic one and about a hundred bucks. Seems expensive but after you buy multiple plastic ones and have the handles eventually break off, you understand the need for a metal 1.

I have ran 10 tubes into a single pyrex but only do that now with really good starting material. I noticed when working with large amounts of trim that some tubes even from the same batch will be slightly different. Not much worse than running 9 perfect tubes into a dish then the last on comes out super cloudy, mucking up all your hard work.

It works fine, but it does require some effort to purge, unless you are making decarboxylated oil out of it.

Here is a pie plate with over half a dozen runs in it.
