Also known as Guyabano in the Philippines. In season the Guyabano is one of the most expensive fruits. They sell in the market for up to 250php which is currently equivalent to $6.That's expensive in the PI. It is also the major ingredient in a product called VitaPlus, which is highly touted as a cure for cancer among other things.

We actually have several immature trees in the yard growing now.I really like the flavor and have enjoyed it since I first discovered it in the late 80s.

If I could only get my Avocado to grow as well.

Heard alot about that stuff. I have also been making the Phoenix Tears extract for years and giving that out to cancer patients with lots of success.

This is cool. I think a wide variety of natural things can be used together and when in unison can form to be more potent & effective in doing such powerful things as curing diseases - I think this idea can come off a little far fetch but it literally IS out there, something.

The wife of my grandfather's major domo would go ON about how the monkeys would decimate her farm. The fruit trees they hit hardest? Guanabana. You should have heard Minga yell! As she got older, we'd go to visit and one sure way to fire her up would be to ask about the monkeys.

This thread prompted me to do some research on this and it seems there are some concerns over getting parkinsons from too much of this stuff. I am very interested in learning more about this and where to find it in Canada.
