Need Help Picking a Vaporizer

So my lovely GF wants to get me a vaporizer for valentines day. I would like some input from those who use/have used/own vaporizers. It's going to be ordered online to the US so sites with good prices and reliability will help too. So what kinda vap do you have? Which one's do you like the best? Probably looking in the $250ish range. Thanks.

Those two are great for home use, But if you really want to use something cool, portable, healthy and efficient, you have to go with the Arizer Solo, simply the best vape ive ever owned and I have had many. This thing is portable, runs on a chargable lithium ion (same as cell phone) battery, and is made in canada. It has a glass bowl and the hits i swear have never tasted so good.

Get it and some cool accessories, including a car charger, at www.planetvape.ca

for a cool forum on vaping and model reviews and pics and overall vaping world go to www.fuckcombustion.com

hope this helps. I have been using my Solo everyday for 11 months now. and it hits as nice as the day i got it

cant go wrong with extremeQ or silver surfer

You're right don... I have 2 SSVs, incase one breaks, hasnt in?? 4-5 years.. runs 24/7. or extremQ... The extremQ can be used like a volcano (the best 'bagger', $700+) with a bag thaqt can be passed around or as a wand/whip type vape.. the ssv has no fan, the extremeQ does. the EQ is digital, the ssv isnt.. I also use, it takes some getting used to, the Vapir NO2, portable. It has a battery that many say is unreliable.. I bought a $13 inverter at radio shack and just keep is 'plugged in'. It also has a coke bottle shape with a 'soda straw look' mouth piece. small bowl but with 'the kind' 3-5 popps is all one needs. Vapes should have ceramic heater.. something else i forget why, what.. cheese in the SSV.

EDIT: a friend with COPD uses the EQ so he doesnt have to inhale as much.. the fan pumps it intaya.

I'm thinking that Arizer Solo is the same family as ExtremeQ.. looks the same... they have extremeQ parts listed at their website http://arizer.com/store/en/5-extreme-heater.

The extremeQ definitely looks really nice and is right in my price range. This doesn't have to be portable as I don't plan on taking it on the go. I appreciate all the input. And this may seem like a really stupid question I could've googled but...do you really need to change the temperature on these things often? I notice most have different temp settings. Unless I'm wrong I like how the extremeQ looks like you can fill their balloon or use a bowl attachment?

put another 250 with it, get a volcano and be done with it. otherwise you will be buying another vaporizer in a year.

my personal experience, along with many others, would seem to say otherwise

i burn first bag 180, then 190, 200, finally 215.

sometimes, if you add hash to the bowl, you can burn at 215 twice or thrice

and that's celsius.

The SSV is for a place where you sit, alone, mostly and hit it 1-2 times evry 2-190 minutes, whenever you remember!:tiphat: The EQ type is more versitile, you can sit alone but if you have a crowd, run the bag and pass it around, instead of having musical chairs so everyone can get in front of the whip type only vapes (ssv).
on the other hand, a volcano is supposed to be the best, but one 'must' fill the bag, even if alone.. turkey roasting bags is what I thik they uses, shicken roasting bags are smaller and work too. my new years resolution was to stop burning.. completely.. used to smoke a joint 'with every one', no more.. icky. quit smoking cigs almost 30 years ago (4 packs a day)...

EDIT: WTF am I talkin about?

I leave my EQ at 195C 99% of the time

I like the convenience and taste of elbow screen packs in the whip. I recommend getting some of the 7th floor (SSV) tubing when you want to replace, its much better. bags can be good too, I used the bag exclusively for couple months before ever trying the whip

for me hard to beat elbow packs of dry ice sift in the whip. so tasty. plain weed is almost as good though

I bought a Viva La Vape, bag style for $160-ish--
Hated it!! Found that it is far from accurate, and didn't get a buzz unless I put it on max...155 degrees!! (I looked up Reviews, and found this was a common complaint) I gave it away and bought a Volcano-- Not one single issue now!!:tiphat:

Thanks again for all the info guys! Looks like my best bet for personal preference, price, and what you've guys have praised I will be getting the extremeQ! The volcano does seem to be nice as well, but not for me, I generally smoke alone and the Mrs. rarely wants a toke. I can't wait!

Ditto on the extreme Q best vaporizer I ever used/bought. Mine has been in constant use for 3 years, not one single problem. To get nice thick vapor, the trick is to letting the glass bowl that holds your flowers to warm up with the bag or whip on and let it get up to the set temperature thats being supplyed from the male joint. This allows you get a nice concentrate vapor because the bowl it self is up to the set temperature or close to it before the fan forces air threw it. Turning the fan on immediatly with out waiting for all the glass to warm up, results in a thinner less concentrated vapor.

this is why i leave mine on 24/7, that and im a serious pothead lol.

Another vote for Extreme Q.......I used a volcano and an Extreme Q in the last week. While I still would get a Volcano if had money to burn the Extreme Q is very nice. I like the little extras the Volcano has on the bag set up but for the money......Extreme Q.

Good luck on purchase.
