Help IDing a pest?

Hey there ICMAG,

Has anyone had white little larvae that jump around? They are in the run off tray and around in the top soil. I thought it was thrips at first but they don't seem to look the same and I haven't found any on leaves yet.

I'm with huarmiquilla, sounds (w/o pics) like springtails. Doesn't mean they don't munch on new shoots, but they feed mostly on dead plant material.

yep sounds like spring tails ,totally no harm to your plants ,if you want rid of them ,put them close to the light for a couple of seconds

So treating with Azamax is redundant in this case? As long as they don't feed on the plants. I have noticed some leaves that look a little sad but nothing drastic.

After my recent harvest I see they are in bloom too.

I recently used a Botanicare CoCo block rather then a bag of Canna CoCo, do you think they could have arrived on the block?

god only knows where they come from,but no real threat. also look out for those small flies,get some sticky things to hang up if they hit ya.goodluck

Very unlikely, imo.

usually comes with soil.. ive only gotten them with foxfarms.. honestly. or from bags of soil were the soil is left outside..

never heard of it coming in coco tho? but then again.. i havent used coco in a while so who knows.
