Experienced growers...who here does not clone?

Any experienced growers here do runs from seed stock only?

Just curious, mainly because I lost my clone mothers recently, and have shit ton of seeds so will probably just be growing from seed for the foreseeable future.

Cloning was the last thing I got consistently good at.
Before I got it down, it was hit or miss, sometimes they all lived, sometimes they all died, sometimes only half died.
At any rate it was not consistent enough to rely on, so I pretty much grew everything from seed.
Breaks my heart to think about all the good plants I saw come and go because I sucked at cloning and couldn't save them.

Nowadays it's all clones, and the occasional seed when I'm looking for something new.

Seeds were a pain in the ass and more work, extra round of transplants, culling males, etc...

Rep slap, Pufles. I relied solely on my own homemade F1s for a while and it was good, but a solid grasp of cloning lets you pick and keep treasured plants.

so basicly just start over .... run your seeds , pick the best females ( & a male if your making F2's ) grab cuts off them before flower & your back in motion . it takes time to build moms .... i've been doing it for about a year & half now with only 4 real keepers .
or as I put it .... poppin seeds & finding moms :)

For most of the years I have been growing I never cloned and ran nothing but seeds every time.

I am now pretty reliant on cloning as I have become a wicked plant hoarder. After all of these years I really know what I like and have a hard time getting rid of plants that I like for one reason or another.

As far as growing is concerned when I run nothing but clones for to many grows in a row I get really bored, so even tho I clone all the time I still pop a ton of seeds. I cant stop buying them so I have to used them lol.

So far only seeds as I just grow 1-2 a year so I don´t have the possibility to keep mothers going. Would be interesting though.

yeah same here, with no room for mother plants seeds are what i have to work with. one of these days i would like to have a nice room for a couple moms but in reality, i have no need for that much to harvest.
