How much should my bubble hash go for???

Re: How much should my bubble hash go for???

You know what's flying out the door around these parts, the unprocessed trim.
$40 an ounce
People like making their own stuff with it.

No way! That's, what, $640 per pound? Madness, I say. At that price, you're better off just buying the concentrate and saving yourself the trouble.

Maybe in your state, not here.

We are a non med state, and you can't find shit here.
People are willing to line up and fight each other for the chance to pay $40 an ounce for some trim around here.

Let me explain more.
We get plenty of the med states outdoor and lower grade crap coming in here, but not trim, the only trim we see around here is from local growers, and it goes for a premium.

People are people and addiction can also be an obcessive compulsive disorder, rampant around the world if you consider all possible addictions.

Which came first, an underlying personality disorder, or abuse of cannabis oil?

I have observed the crotchity irracible behavior in bud or hash smokers, who heavily indulge, so oil is not the common denominator, over indulgence and a predisposition to crotchiness seems to be.

I see cannabis oil as just another tool, which does some things better than any other form.

We have no idea of the overall effects of imbibing BHO.. Especially, if irresponsibly made.

I am sure that when BHO is done right, it is a small health risk at most. But, I personally prefer natural drugs. _)

So far, I have received 4 replies PMing me that they are seeing it too in various parts of the USA. People hooked and 90% using oils not flowers. I like the bowl my friend offered me of B-grade bubble hash with a gob of incompletely-purged BHO on top. No thanks. Why does everything have to be so extreme in our American Culture ...!!!???

Children in Some Middle Eastern countries that are ultra-strict on drugs are huffing Butane direct from the can. Many are killing themselves, and this is no fiction.

The Personality changes I refer to are in People already well smoked out on Pot for decades, and this is new, after the use of BHO became the standard high for them.. Then, They want to isolate themselves.. Hiding from judgement of others who do NOT imbibe on oils. Hanging exclusively with other people who use BHO all day, every day.

Vehemently defending the Substance, while exhibiting crazy crotchety behaviour, the likes I have never seen from them. Becoming insensitive to other people. Not allowing others to talk. A loss of Sympathetic and Empathic abilities, as well as Human interaction.

This is typical addictive behaviour. But, up until recently, ATYPICAL for the individuals in question.

I know You guys want to deny it. I obviously hit a collective nerve... What does that tell you.?

I do not wish to be a muckraker. Just a Soothsayer.

Don't hate the Messenger.

Or I will maintain that "Methinks Thou Dost Protest Overmuch..."

Leaving it alone, now.

'Nuff Respect, Folks.

Go ahead with all the neg rep. Doesn't change a thing.

Smoking 75-80% THC all day, every day WITH Butane impurities not completely purged, is simply not a functional existence... A Price will be paid for that behaviour. Time will bear this out.

Ummmm, so its settled and anyone who says otherwise is complaining too much?

I am not a shrink, so I don't have the chiseled in stone answers, but do wonder how that assumption account for the old tokers, who now dab regularly, who don't become irracible?

Is the problem the drug or the underlying issue behind the addiction?

Are there other aspects of their lives that are not supportive of good mental health, and are there other drugs involved?

I don't deny or question that the irracible behavior that you describe exists, because I too have observed it, but with individuals predisposed to such actions.

It seems like that while toking agitates some individuals to paranoia, for the most part it makes the average person more passive and lethargic.

Well obviously consuming improperly made solvent extracts is no bueno for your health, that should be pretty obvious.

The fact of the matter is potent extracts and concentrates weather it be full melt dry sift, full melt ice water hash or a solvent extract, they're used because most medicating on them don't want to smoke a huge spliff or a bong bowl of flowers, they want to vaporize a large concentration of cannabinoids in one hit and get to right where they need to be.

I still enjoy smoking joints, bowls, but it's purely recreational, my lungs sure don't enjoy the combustion. When my back and neck is burning with pain, or I feel sick to my stomach, one or two dabs of Absolute amber or fullmelt and I'm feeling much better very quickly with out having to puff down a big joint or few bowls or sitting there waiting for my vaporizer to fill the bag. All of these take time and when I'm not feeling good, I want to feel better as fast as possible and vaporizing cannabis concentrates is how I do that.

I agree there is alot of poorly made bho people are putting into their bodies everyday, it's up to the consumer to educate themselves and decide whats safe before consuming.

I think some forget that BHO is not something new. Even before I was making BHO we where smoking oil of some type 20 years ago. Im not dead yet or any negative problems from doing so. Back then I use to smoke 10x what I smoke today. Thats when I use to smoke every hr if I had it. Roll a blunt with Hash and oil mixed in....The Oil we make today is much cleaner then 20 years ago. Lets take worst case scenario. Someone makes BHO. Blows a bunch that has been fully decarboxylation how unhealthy is it compaired to 20 years ago. IMO I think the oil of today is a better product. Just the Butane alone is a better solvent then it was back then.

The Old hash oil.... We were just talking about how it was made, the other day.. 1970's.. Which we used only sparingly, not daily...

The "Lebanese" Hash, Honey, and Red Oils..

Of course, there is no way to know. But our supposition is that some sort of alcohol must have been used... Any Ideas out there..?

Here's one I heard from a 'prominent' & Greedy Broker in Mendo.

"I run the shake / trim 4-5 times for the bubble hash - and THEN the remainder stock is dried and used to make oil.." Then incompletely Purged, He sells it for pennies, undercutting everyone else - to the ONE LOCAL MEDICAL DISPENSARY..>!

How about that one, Guys...? Thus is the mentality I refer to. First, running stock 4-5 times with an electric drill and a paint mixer..? Whoa.

I must rephrase:

NOT REFERING to you Purists who take the time to learn how to make GOOD oils...

Again, as in Bud Production., the top 10% are the only noteworthy Folks.. Except, with Buds, maybe potency is affected, by inexperience. With BHO, it is a Health Concern.

Smoking exclusively 70-80% THC all day, with impurities cannot be good. My contention.

IMO there are probably just as many people who make bubble tainted from being mixed in things such as homer buckets (non food-grade) as there are crappy oil makers. I wonder how good smoking plastic is for you?

One thing that's funny is you keep talking about smoking 70-80% thc "ALL DAY". I've actually found that since laying off the flower and switching to nug oil that I only go through slightly more material than I was before (what I was smoking vs what I run into oil)... I'm only ingesting slightly more over the course of the day, the difference is I inhale a whole lot less. My lungs feel so much better it's not even funny. The whole point of concentrates is they are more effective delivery system. Anyone who smoke oil constantly all day long is going to be burnt out, but most don't have to.

My lowes buckets are food grade. Big difference putting water in ice in a bucket then blasting solvents thru a pvc pipe or other plastic fixture where the solvents could exude more toxins from the plastic.

I wouldn't smoke any of the "oils" if you paid me. Too many asshats out there that don't know or care what they are doing.

Well if that's the mentality your referring to, you act like you never met a greedy bastard with no back bone. Sadly they're many like this in the medical scene with no regards for the patient, only their pocket.

Thats why as a consumers you have to educate yourself before consuming, as long as they are idiots buying the improperly made extracts, the souless prick that makes the extracts will conintue to supply them.

Just like the average food in a grocery store containting pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones, anti biotics, processed corn products, preservatives, gmos, the list goes on.
Why are these companies selling these products still in business because people keep buying them, and untill people stop buying these products, they will continue to provide them.

Regular old bubble wont sell around here in SoCal in the circles I am part of. BHO goes anywhere from 350-700 a zip depending on who you get it from. There is some really nice BHO always going for 500 a zip from one source i have. The same three flavors get boring though after lots of use. If money is a motivator i would make BHO over hash anyday.

You are exactly right! Unfortunately it will never end, because too few are awake! I make most of what I consume, but I am lacking in the BHO dept. Sometimes I like to buy a gram or two of shatter. Most of the time I can't find anything good to purchase, so I come home empty-handed! (This is No. Ca., not Kansas)
